EARLY LIFE

Albrecht was born on 1471 in Nuremberg,

Germany

He was the son of Albrecht Durer and Barbara

Holfer.

He had a sibling named Hans Durer

He was a  German painter, engraver,

printmaker, mathematician, and theorist from

Nuremberg.

FACTS ON DURER

In 1468 Albrecht curer’s father married his own

daughter, Barbara.

They had 18 children.

He was taught how to paint by some Italian

masters.

At the age of 13 Albrecht already had made a self

portrait so he was very skilled at a very young age

He is known as the German Leonardo
