On the slopes o the mountain you can also nd cork. !ndalusian thyme, rosemary, mar"oram, #erusalem sage, rue, ennel, palm, esparto$ Through various paths and trails that run this natural enclave, scents and ragrances open scrub and small burden that develop under the canopy are perceived , etc. They are species that have always been in the storerooms o the grandparents, because they have been countless home remedies or various ailments under its healing properties. !s part o the pasture, in orest clearings, you can see one o the most advanced amilies o the plant kingdom$ orchids, which together with the native plants that develop due to geological and climate o this mountain eatures, are the this main botanical wealth. Moreover, the oak is accompanied by a dense and bushy scrubland o %ermes, mastic, "uniper, cornicabra, daphne and thickets.

was the place where @eneral #osA MarBa de Torri"os took reuge ater revolt

against the absolutism o 5ernando 2II in 9C, beore his eDecution.

!rcos de Eapata$ well-preserved remains o what was the !/ueduct o 

5uente del &ey, originally rom the eighteenth century and was built to bring

water rom the spring o the same name, located in 'hurriana to Malaga. Itnever came into operation, due to the enormous pressure eDerted by the

landowners o the valley and numerous economic problems. It is located in

the 1arrio de Eapata.

!lbaicBn caves$ are caves that are inside thirteen homes located in the Old

0uarter, which are currently being studied and cataloged. The result o this

study will determine the value o each o them and their possible protectionand recovery.
