Our FS2 Online Learning Pathway
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to this week’s Distance Learning Programme FS2 online learning - this week - Sunday 17th May
All students, in FS2 should be able to access their learning tasks for this week (17th – 21st May) from this path. The paths will continue to be published on the website, every Thursday, detailing the next week of learning. Please try to share your learning with class teachers who are available, during Ramadan, by email, between 8.30am – 1.30pm, to support you with your tasks and activities. Please note that any emails sent after 1.30pm will be answered by class teachers the following day. Students will also continue to have the opportunity for a ‘live’ teaching session with their class teacher using the ‘Google Meets’. Google Meet Sessions

Weekly learning overview
This week, we are continuing with our topic of ‘Telling Tales’ and will have a focus on the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We will be asking the children to redesign a cape for Little Red Riding Hood! In Phonics this week we will continue to recap all the sounds we have learnt to date as well as learn two new digraphs, ur and ow. We will also continue to challenge the children to use their Phonic knowledge to write words and sentences. In literacy, we will be adapting and changing elements of our story of Jack and the Beanstalk so look out for our new characters! In Maths, this week we will continue to consolidate the skill of addition using a range of methods. For our Thrilling Thursday project, we are asking the children to dress up in their favourite fancy dress costume! We can’t wait to see the photos!
