WELL INTERVENTION UNITS

A 5 year contract with a 5 year option has beensigned with Petrobras for use of Aker Oilfi eldServices fi rst medium sized unit for instal-lation of subsea XT systems. Offshore work starting 01/2010.

A fl eet of larger MODU classed ship shaped WellIntervention units are currently being built. The units are equipped for well intervention through riser with wireline, coiled tubing and well testing/well clean-up. A fully integrated solution can be offered.

The Aker Oilfi eld Services well intervention units are designed to allow for quick, effi cient and safe rig-up and running of well intervention services.Well intervention services can be an integrated part of the units supplied, offering customers a one-stop shop for all their intervention needs.

Wireline

• Full slick and electric line range on cables• Access to Wireline Tractor and applications• Full range of cased hole tools• Dedicated personnel on units• Run from control chair in tower cabin• Real time data transfer available• Conveyance of all third party and company provided tools is possible

Coiled Tubing

Well Test facility

• Full range fl ow test, up to 20,000 bbs/day• Easy hook-up and installing of any 3rd party testing equipment.• Permanently installed hinged fl are boom with burner and deluge system• Permanently installed piping• Fully integrated F&G and PSD/ESD systems• 4” high rate production hose & 4” Kill hose installed.

Fluid handling and well control

• HP kill pumps• HP chemical injection pumps• Two separate mud mixing systems• Permanently installed mixing, reserve and storage tanks• Fully integrated bulk transfer system

Construction & Maintenance• 400 mT active heave compensated crane• 50 mT active heave compensated crane• Full range ROV services • 2 work class ROV • Central ROV moonpool for launch in most weather conditions.
