Airport ManagementToll delivers a complete range of airport management services from development and implementation of regulatory compliance documentation such as Aerodrome Manuals, Safety Management Systems and Emergency Response plans; through to daily compliance management against the CASA Manual of Standards and Aviation Security Regulations.
Our Airport Reporting Officers (AROs) are highly experienced and focussed on delivering operational solutions offered that are complete, flexible and reliable. Our AROs are fully trained Work Safety Officers and qualified Security Screeners to provide organisational depth that can be essential to providing efficient operations in remote resource locations.
With a comprehensive asset management system in place, Toll is able to inspect and maintain each asset and facility that we manage. The system is designed to efficiently provide full visibility of asset maintenance requirements, routine inspection call-outs, asset maintenance histories, parts consumption, costs, asset locations, provide a quantitative aid for budget planning, forward CAPEX planning, management of inventory levels, identifying approved suppliers and ensuring a continuous quality service.
The entire package helps us ensure quality, compliance, and reliability in the management and protection of these critical supply chain components.
Passenger & Baggage Screening
Toll is an approved Screening Authority and ASIC issuing authority and delivers comprehensive airport security services. Our team can develop Transport Security Programs and has extensive experience meeting the requirements of the Office of Transport Security.
Our processes and staffing models are tailored to meet the operational needs of each location and to achieve an efficient balance between hours of required coverage and sustainable shift rosters that address fatigue and staff retention risks.
It is a policy of the company to engage local staff wherever appropriate, delivering community benefits and assisting with long-term retention and flexibility. Whilst FIFO has its place in balancing experience levels with staff availability, we would always prefer to identify and train local staff to our standards and in doing so provide skills and opportunities that help build strong links to the local community.

Our sister company Toll Dnata is one of Australia’s largest ground handlers providing a ground handling services in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin.
Toll is a commercial provider of ground handling training services including dangerous goods handling, airside safety and design of efficient operational processes. Accordingly, all ground handling services delivered by Toll benefit from a depth in capability, standards management and resourcing that is simply unmatched in the Asia Pacific region.
Toll is a global supplier of aviation refuelling services to operators in some of the harshest and most remote locations on Earth. As one of the primary suppliers to the United Nations forces in Africa we design, construct commission and operate aviation refuelling operations supporting large and small aircraft, fixed and rotary wing. We own and operate our own fuel storage facilities across the Asia Pacific region and deliver more than 100 million litres per annum.
Our quality systems are fully compliant with IATA requirements, supported by supplementary compliance and quality assurance programs appropriate to the aviation regulations of each jurisdiction.
Toll has a specialist construction and project management unit. This expertise can be deployed to support airport capital works projects to assure compliance focussed processes with best practice outcomes. Such services could include installation of PAPI approach lighting systems, runway overlays and design and management of passenger terminal facilities.
Combined with airport master planning services we also provide capital works projections for some of our existing operations, enabling preliminary planning services for future budgetary cycles.
