on April 1st, 1932, the Civil Airport of Cluj is established in 1944, the airport is destroyed during the World War II between 1960-1970 - the first reconstruction stage between 1995-2009 - traffic development and modernization of the
infrastructure between 2011 – 2013 - a new runway was constructed at the airport in 2014, Cluj Avram Iancu International Airport reached over
1,180,000 passengers for the 4th time in the last 5 years
