AIRLINE AMBASSADORS is the first international aid and development organization to operate within the airline industry. We effectively leverage capabilities within our industry to provide low cost transportation, transport of goods, customs or logistical and direct aid delivery to disaster regions, as well as to orphanages, clinics and remote communities. We have grown to thousands of members that act as a human link connecting world resource to world need.

As a nonprofit organization affiliated with the United Nations we support the Sustainable Development Goals. With that focus we have made significant contributions to our world community addressing issues of poverty and hunger, child welfare, education, health and community development. We have taken the lead on the largest human rights issue of our time, raising awareness in the aviation industry on the issue of human trafficking prevention.

We also positively impacted hundreds of volunteers with inspiring opportunities to bring compassion into action. Our members deepened their understanding of global inequity, respect for diverse cultures, and appreciation of our common humanity.

For every $1 dollar donated, we directly delivered $4.57 directly to thousands of impoverished children and vulnerable women. With a bare minimum of donations going to administrative costs we have been able to achieve more than we had ever expected or hoped.

Clearly, we could not accomplish our work without the support of our volunteers, the airlines and local partners including dozens of non-profits, businesses and local governments. This letter of thanks and appreciation goes out to all our benefactors who have generously contributed their resources, time and passion to those who await our help worldwide.

In Shared Dedication,

Nancy RivardPresident and Founder

A Message of Thanks and Appreciation

AIRLINE AMBASSADORS is sincerely grateful for your continued generous help and participation. With the support of our

members and partners, last year we were able to personally improve the lives of 7,846 people in 7 countries. In 2019 we hand delivered thousands of pounds of medicine, medical supplies, food, clothing and school supplies on ten humanitarian missions directly to 3,680 children in need. Our volunteers also provided a loving escort for 102 children and orphans for life changing journeys and provided 28 human trafficking awareness

trainings to 4064 front line personnel enabling the effective scanning of millions of travelers.

Our VisionAIRLINE AMBASSADORS INTERNATIONAL is a member driven organization with thousands of volunteers from the airline industry. Our members are professional travelers and leverage air travel resources and em-ployee benefits to bring compassion into action.

Our ProgramsAIRLINE AMBASSADORS INTERNATIONAL makes long-termcommitments to projects we support. We connect volunteers and donorsto assist children and vulnerable populations.

In 2019 our volunteers contributed 3,937 volunteer hours and spent tens of thousands of dollars of personal income. They directly made a difference in the lives of 7,846 beneficiaries and saved the lives of human trafficking victims because of our training.

Children’s Medical Escort Program

AIRLINE AMBASSADORS contracts with various adoption agenciesand nonprofits to provide volunteer escorts for children in need of medicalcare not available in their home countries or for orphans going to theirnew homes. These Airline Ambassadors are airline personnel who usetheir flight privileges to provide a loving and capable adult companion forthese disadvantaged children at a fraction of the cost to adoption agencies, health care partners or individuals requiring our service. We also escortchildren coming from Ukraine and Poland for the summer and winterholidays to stay with foster families.

In 2019 we escorted 102 children, to and from 13 countries representing 2, 652 service hours an in-kind value of $224,500.00.

Humanitarian Missions

AIRLINE AMBASSADORS AMBASSADORS coordinates missionsevery month where members hand deliver medical supplies, first aidkits, school supplies, clothing, blankets, and medicine to orphanages, schools, and remote communities. We also provide opportunities for travelers of all ages to share their unique skills and expertise to benefit local communities. A donation from the Isa Foundation (charitable Foundation of thenutrition company – Isagenix, also donated $60,000 in shelf-stable meal replacements which our team delivered directly to those in need in the Bahamas in thewake of Hurricane Dorian. A grant from the Isa Foundation allowed us to re-write and update our Health and Hygiene Manual into a Wellness Manual, many thanks to Dr. Kate Jewell. Our volunteer teams delivered Wellness Education to over 200 community members at Shepherd of the Hills Children’s Home and Abatex dumpsite and hand-deliveredpure water filtration systems in both of these locations in the Philippines. Additionally, we brought a team of dentists to provide dental checkups, extractions and more for all the 70 children in Zambales. We also provided financial donations and in kind donations to ouradopted projects in Johannesburg, South Africa at Marias House andat Sinethemba House as well as support to the orphans of Diakonos

International, our adopted orphanage in Carrefour, Haiti. In additionour generous members provided sponsorships for every orphan atShepherd of the Hills Children’s Home in the Philippines and severalchildren in the local community.

In 2019, we hand-delivered $85,204.00 of humanitarian aid on seven humanitarian missions directly impacting 63,680 beneficiaries, children and disaster victims.

Human Trafficking Awareness Program

AIRLINE AMBASSADORS ontinued to be the leading advocate forhuman trafficking awareness for the airline and travel industry. AAIprovides a team of three to four trainers to present a 90-minute training atairports or other locations with handouts, pre and post assessments, walletcards and posters. Trainings include stories from a survivor of humantrafficking as well real-life cases of flight attendants and others who haveidentified trafficking. This year the US Embassy supported our trainings in Bucharest Romania and arranged for our team to present to hotels, law enforcement at the Southeast Law Enforcement Center, the US Embassy staff and provide a full day Train the Trainer for airline and airport staff. Airline Ambassadors also presented at international conferences such as the Nepal meeting of the Pacific Asia Travel Professionals and at the AVSEC Aviation Security conference in London. AAI’s work was very well received at both locations. In one of our most exciting success stories we supported Ibrahim Bangura inhis efforts to save 48 victims of trafficking who had been trafficked fromSierra Leone to Kuwait. Our efforts resulted in the safe return of all 48 girls and the International Office of Migration provided certification for the survivors and a stipend of $1000 each. Domestically in 2019 also we provided trainings in Las Vegas, NV, Colleyville, GA, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, Minneapolis, MN, Sacramento, CA, Savannah, GA, Tucson, AZ and Waycross, GA. At all venues we highlighted and our, TIP Line APP, as a reporting platform. Our App has received 1000 “tips since we launched it in 2015 and has enabled the scanning of more than 55 MILLION passengers In 2019, we provided 28 airport trainings for 4064 front line aviation and security personnel and also participated in the Department of Transportation Advisory Committee on HumanTrafficking and the White House Advisory Committee onHuman Trafficking.
