AnAirLiftingCleaningToolThe Air Lifting tool is an old inhouse designed tool used by McDermott offshore construction barges late 80s to clean the mudand debris from the proposed locations for Platforms installation.The tool performance is based on utilizing pressurized air to liftthe water inside the 8 pipe spool creating a vacuum force thatmoves the bottom mud/debris through the top bend. The tool islifted with a crane to move around in the area intended to becleaned.The main parts are as follow: Main 8 Pipe with top elbow. Air Pipe 1.5 or 2 pipe with quick air hose connection on top,

the line shall be properly supported on the main 8 pipe body .Line is welded through the 8 main pipe to allow air to enterthe Main 8 pipe near the bottom.

Proper sized top main pad eyes (2 each) for lifting duringnormal operation and two bottom tilting padeyes for debrisremoval.

The sediment cage is a wire meshed caged structure to allowwater to flow freely and depresses to be removed.

The system needs a pig high pressure air compressor tooperate (suggest to use the compressor used for Sand Blasting)
