AIR CANNONVALVE DESIGN
Positive-Pressure Firing Valves
Positive-pressure fi ring valves provide improved safety by requiring a second air line to deliver a positive pulse of air from the solenoid to trigger discharge, eliminating unintentional fi rings due to drops in pressure.
The control solenoid can be positioned as far as 60 meters (197 feet) from the tank, keeping solenoids away from harsh conditions and diffi cult service.
Positive-fi ring valves also provide a greater force output, amplifi ing the discharge force for up to 20% more power than equivalent-size air cannons.
Central Valve Design
Compact, powerful and effi cient, central valve design houses the entire valve assembly within the air cannon tank, providing the most direct air path for maximum force output and minimal air consumption.
A centrally-housed valve assembly also offers the smallest footprint, simple installation and one-step maintenance. The complete valve assembly can be removed in one easy step from a single side of the tank and replaced within minutes without ever removing the tank from the vessel.
TRADITIONAL VALVE DESIGN
As a well-established technology, negative-pressure fi ring, external valve designs offer a proven and reliable record of effective performance in challenging applications across a broad range of industries. Valves are mounted externally to tanks and require minimal plumbing; only one line of air to fi ll tank and trigger valve.
ADVANCED VALVE DESIGN
Developments in positive-pressure fi ring valves and centrally-positioned valves have made modern air cannons safer, easier to install and service, more effi cient and more forceful.

MULTI-VALVE ANDMULTI-PORT SYSTEMSEFFICIENCY MULTIPLIED
Multiple-valve and multiple-port air cannon systems utilize a single air reservoir to provide air through stainless steel hoses or steel pipes to improve fl ow at a number of discharge points on a process vessel, simplifying and improving the safety of installation and maintenance.
Multiple-valve systems incorporate several valves that discharge through multiple hoses or pipes to their respective vessel locations.
Multiple-port systems incorporate one valve that discharges through multiple hoses or pipes to various locations on a vessel.
Both multi-valve and multi-port systems share the same major benefi ts:
Improving installation and service with a single air reservoir that replaces a series of individual tank-and-valve air cannons, eliminating the need to hang heavy air tanks on vessels.
