Sub: Call for applications for London Study Tour-2014

They say to travel is to possess the world, and keeping the same in mind All India Law Students Association has created a travel based learning platform of which study tours constitute an essential part. We envision a knowledge based society, eliminating boundaries and bringing people together in the spirit of learning. Our journeys have helped participants realize their full potential through invigorating travel experiences by stretching the boundaries of the classroom.

As the president of All India Law Students Association, it is my privilege to announce the London Study tour 2014. We believe the study tour shall help students appreciate the systematization and organization of the society abroad, and shall broaden their horizon by providing them opportunities to meet many such students and corporates.

LONDON STUDY TOUR-2014

Students are informed that the “ALL INDIA LAW STUDENTS ASSOCIATION” (AILSA), is conducting LONDON STUDY TOUR in the month of June 2014. As a part of the itinerary, the delegates will be meeting the Judges, Ministers, and Bar Leaders amongst others. Visits to Law Schools and Universities shall also be conducted. The approximate cost for the same is `1,75,000 per person.

Interested students may mail their applications on [email protected] with the following documents:

Scanned copy of Registration Form;

Curriculum Vitae;

500 word Statement of Purpose; and

Scanned Copy of Passport (with min. 6 months validity).

Last date for sending your applications shall be 31st March 2014.

Selected students shall be notified on or before 10th April 2014.

Last date for payment of delegate fees shall be 30th April 2014.

Delhi – London – Delhi air tickets on economy class.

4/5 nights’ accommodation on MAP basis (Bed, Breakfast and 1 major meal)

Visit to 2 Law Schools/Universities.

2 Interactions with industry professionals.

Delegate entry to International Conference of Jurists. (www.internationaljurists.org)

One day comprehensive sightseeing in London

Visa Application fees (Price only includes application fees, the actual granting of VISA shall

depend on an individual’s Personal Interview with the English Authorities)

All applicable Taxes, including GST

Package does not include:

Expenses of personal nature (cost of food items purchased, tips and gratuities, shopping

expenses, etc.)

Any meals other than those specified.

Any Monuments, Entrance Fees and Guide Charges not mentioned.

Any other items except “price includes”.

IMPORTANT:

Above is a general quotation and not the conformation.

Once confirmed, no refund shall be initiated on cancellation or modifications.

The trip shall commence on schedule and there shall be no delay of any nature for a

particular individual or group of individuals.



It is expected out of each student to present an exemplary character and good behaviour

during the duration of the study tour and keep to the general code of conduct.

AILSA, shall or is not liable for personal belongings of the students. Students are requested

to take of their own belongings.

It is expected that students do not litter in general. If this is observed, the fine for same shall

be borne by the student him/her-self.

Any damage or defacement to property caused, the student shall be held liable for the

same and will be responsible of consequent actions and fines.

All students are expected to obey the directions provided by the Trip Co-ordinator. Violation

of the same shall call for strict action.

AILSA shall not be liable for any student caught in activities of improper the nature; but the

same shall be taken an action upon as decided adequate.

It is expected of all not to SMOKE, or indulge in INTOXICATION during the trip.

AILSA shall not be liable for any illness caused during the complete trip. Students are

expected to carry any or all required medicines for themselves.

AILSA reserves all rights of final action and decision on the above said matters and in

general.

Trip Itinerary shall be shared with selected participants after successful payment of delegate

fees.
