HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Registered Apprenticeship model combines g pp pon-the-job learning with job related instruction and progressively increases the skill level and wages of apprentices as they advance through the program.

EMPLOYER PROCESS
• Interview pre-screened applicants• Candidates screened based on
employer’s role needs by Foundation
• Cover letter and resumes submitted to employers for consideration
Interview pre screened applicants• Select, offer and hire apprentices by employer
• Inform the Foundation of hire
• Identify the apprenticeship roles of interest• Outline your timeline to fill the positions• Consider your Immersion training needs
• Review and sign Standards of Apprenticeship
• Receive Registered Apprenticeship Partners Information Data System (RAPIDS) number
• Apprentice receives certificate of completion
• Employee skilled and trained to meet your company needs.
• Schedule Immersion Training• Employer assigns Journeyworker/Mentor
• Apprentice completes & signsApprenticeship Agreement

JOB SEEKER PROCESS
• Identify the apprenticeship • Screening interview with AHIMA F d ti
• Employer invites applicants to interview • Employment offer extended to selected • Identify the apprenticeship
roles of interest• Complete One application for each role of interest
• Identify references for application
Foundation• Eligible applicants screened by Foundation will await employers requesting referrals.
• Cover letter and resume forwarded to potential employers for consideration
Employment offer extended to selected applicant(s) made by employer
• Applicants not placed will return to pool for possible future referral
• Employer notifies Foundation of placement.
