FRESH GINGER PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY IN NORTH EAST

• NIIST have set up commercial ventures inNorth East states of Manipur, Meghalaya,Sikkim for processing of Ginger, Turmeric andGreen Cardamom

• Technology transfered to Mizoram &Arunachal Pradesh to set up commercial units

• Ensured remunerative return to the ruralfarmers

A New Venture to cater 7.5 TPD ginger is under implementation at Wayanad, Kerala
