A good story is the glue that holds your game together.
Comedy wri4ng should be performed in front of editors.
When it comes to comedy, concept is king.
No ma>er how cool your story is, if the team doesn’t like it, it won’t work.
When it comes to comedy, consistency is overrated.
Some4mes the best process is an unorthodox one.
A great story can hugely improve the morale of your team. The opposite of this is also true.
Having your voice actor cast BEFORE you write dialog is AWESOME.
Writers need to be a part of the voice over process.

Learn from your peers (not from books).
Conversa4on trees, NPC interac4on-‐ basically “talking” won’t be made into fun gameplay.

Have your story arc for all your episodes figured out before you start the first episode.
Some4mes being a writer is like being a plumber.
