More than your digital resume: Think of LinkedIn as your online billboard. It showcases and communicates to others how you see yourself professionally. ASK: What do you think the percentage of companies using LinkedIn is? Network: A great place to begin building your professional network. We’ll talk a little more about using LinkedIn to network and little later in the presentation. ASK: What percentage of positions are filled through a referral? First impression: In many cases, LinkedIn will be an employers first impression of you. 75% of hiring managers report looking at LinkedIn profiles.
