After our six-month Basic Recruit Training, we police recruits were distributed to different police stations wherein we applied the theoretical knowledge we learned from school. Lots of concept regarding community policing I gained from my on-the-job training. But the most relevant is having been able to adapt principles to the situations we faced everydus to nt beats for ay with the supervision of our FTOs. They educate and trained us in all three phases we undertake which are traffic, patrol, and investigation; all needed principles and concepts of basic policing for us to be equipped with necessary skills and knowledge that will help us competently perform our duties and responsibilities as law enforcers.
