Sub: Weekly Monitoring/Reporting of Target vis-a vis Achievement
ofAgriculture Field Officers
In ref to HO/PSC/AFO/206 dated 16/05/2013, you are aware that
Bank could not
achieve the regulatory target under priority sector and its sub
sector-Direct Agriculture
and Indirect Agriculture,during the financial year 2012-13.The
higher authorities haveshown their serious concern over non-
achievement of the regulatory target and have
directed to make a strategy in such a way that all sub sector
targets of priority sector in
general and Agriculture sector in particular are achieved in
full and visible growth takes
place during the current financial year.
Agriculture Field Officers(AFOs) are one of the driving force in
field who can
bring the momentum if they are properly motivated and branch
wise targets are set for
them and their performance be monitored on regular basis. In
this direction, it has been
decided by the Bank to introduce a Weekly Performance Monitoring
System of AFOs.
For this purpose you are already allocated various Branches
& branch-wise/monthlytarget have been allotted, keeping in view
the potential available in the area.
We enclose a Weekly Monitoring format for your ready reference.
You are
requested to submit AFO wise report along with your comments to
us. The report at the
end of each Friday will be submitted for each AFO to the
respective Zonal Office on
each Saturday and the same have to be sent by Zonal Offices on
the same day to Head
Office, PSC Deptt by e- mail/fax. The weekly monitoring system
will be started from the
week ended 24.05.2013.
As this system has been put in place on the instruction of our
Honble Chairman
and Managing Director, please ensure its implementation
forthwith so that system is
stabilized and fruitful results must come out in the area of
Agriculture/Priority Sector
lending.
