We have experience with theleading multivariable controllers and are expert withnewer technologies for automated step testing andevolving project methodologies.
As part of a full-service automation and control business, we can provide DCS configuration, DCSgraphics, analyzers and any other work necessaryto implement your APC project successfully, minimizingthe number of contractors involved.
Advanced Process Control
Advanced Process Control is designed to improve operation of production processes, resulting in continuous management and optimization of complexprocess interactions. A multivariable interaction modelis designed by the APC team and utilized with well-proven control software to predict the future path of theprocess, compare that to the operating boundaries, andimplement a smooth plan to that target. Mustang’s APC team has formed an alliance with CutlerTechnology Corporation, pioneers in model-based multivariable control, to promote their breakthrough[ADMC] controller and operator training technology.We are certified by Cutler Technology to be its preferredindependent implementer of the adaptive controller.The technology provides high value by combining positive aspects of classic multivariable control withthe fast disturbance rejection of DCS-based basic control loops. The same [ADMC] model serves as theheart of the dynamic operator training simulator to provide a very cost-effective alternative to expensive,first-principles simulators.
