Established in 1995, APS Advanced Printing Sy-stems specialises in design and manufacturing of OEM thermal printer mechanisms, controller boards and custom thermal printing solutions.

APS is a global corporation with engineering, production and sales offices throughout Eu-rope, Asia, North and South America. Our mission is to provide highly reliable, innovative thermal printer solutions that meet the chal-lenges of our customers’ application needs. APS has created an extensive product line to meet the demands of most applications.

APS is the only company in the industry to offer built-in control boards in the standard thermal printer lines to reduce footprint size and cost. APS also pioneered many other innovations such as its patented easy loading mechanisms and lever system, single flex cable connectors, compact kiosk modules, flat mechanisms and high performance/low cost control board ar-chitecture. These innovations and more are part of the APS standard offering.

New products and features are consisten-tly added to APS family of products to meet the ever-changing needs of the market. When a specialised solution is required, APS is ready to work with the customer at every step of the way to support his application.

APS has partnered with many industries that maintain the most rigorous standards such as medical equipment and government applications. APS is ISO 9001-2000 certified and RoHS com-pliant. Moreover, APS possesses the ISO/TS 16949:2009 certification - the automotive sec-tor certificate prepared by IATF.

APS offers complete thermal printing solutions through the diverse product family of Mini, Flat, Compact, and Easy-Loading Printers, as well as Ultra Compact Bucket, Kiosk and Label Modules. These printing solutions are accom-panied by APS full line of accessories including power supplies, connection cables, user ma-nuals, chipsets, integrated controller boards, RS232 and Centronic interfaces, Windows and Linux drivers, demo software, and a high level of technical support.

Our Success Story

1995 • APS Advanced Printing Systems was founded.

1996 • APS introduced the Mini Printer (MP), Low Power and Ultra Compact Series as well as Full Custom mechanisms. APS Enginee-ring was established in Paris, France.

1997 • The Compact Mid Range Printer mechanisms series was launched including 2 and 3-inch solutions with and without inte-grated controller boards. APS Industrial was established in Milan with the first production facility.

1998 • The Compact Mid Range Double Station series was added to the product family for cash registers and fiscal printers. APS America was established in California.

1999 • The APS patented Easy Loading system was ideated and applied to Ultra Low Cost and Easy Loading 2-inch mechanisms. Compact 4-inch Printers with and without control board complete the range of Single and Double Sta-tion mechanisms.

2000 • The APS product family was expan-ded to include the Smart Printer Line and Heavy Duty Easy Loading, Low Power, Low Voltage mechanisms.

2001 • APS Asia established in Taipei, Tai-wan.

2003 • APS introduced the first Super Small (SS) line of printers in the world. A second production facility was established in Bulga-ria.2004 • High Speed Fast Controller thermal prin-ter line, full customized products, Kiosk Com-pact Module design added to APS portfolio of solutions. Start-up of the new production faci-lity in Botevgrad, Bulgaria.

2005 • Pre-production of High Speed Fast Controller line as well as Kiosk Compact Module, High Speed Smart printer mechani-sms.

2006 • Fully customized printing solutions for Automotive and Medical applications.

2007 • APS Asia Pacific manufacturing facility established in Shanghai. APS introduced the HSP (Heavy Duty High Speed) Line and com-pleted KM (Kiosk Module) Series.

2009 • APS Manufacturing Eood set up the R&D department, as well as its headquarters and cu-stomer service offices in Sofia, Bulgaria.

2011 • APS took up a new challenge: the APS Taipei (Taiwan) office that to be responsible for conception, design and production for all APS controller boards.

2012 • Complying with the new standards: APS acquired the new ISO certificate required by the automotive sector: ISO/TS 16949:2009.
