data collecting / data capturing:



Improvement of data capturing tools:

running from 2009 to 2012 6 service contracts about 25 functional improvements such as

- better performance- export of key tables and record structures- sorting of key tables- display of additional information and definitions- meta templates for user interface



data processing / data retention :



Improvement of Referral System:

running from 2009 to 2012 40 service contracts bug-fixes, preliminary work for future service contracts improvements such as

- better performance- adaption to 64bit operating systems- extension of user administration- character set conversion- new SPSS-interface



data mining:



Programming of Metadata Navigator:

running from 2009 to 2012 2 service contracts two-step implementation (requirements specification – programming) search in complete metadata inventory with search parameters such as

- spatial reference- period specification- subject area- full-text search



data analysis:



Improvement of Internet-Assistant:

running from 2009 to 2012 16 service contracts 40 functional improvements such as

- locally installable version of the application- grouping of attributes- performance- export of fully formatted EXCEL-tables- dynamic footnotes in tables- functions „Save“ and „Open“ for fixed evaluations- extended table views- closure of potential security gaps



data analysis and data presentation:



Programming of webbased mapping tool:

running in 2012 2 service contracts two-step implementation (requirements specification – programming) completed in December 2012 current state of work:

- reqirements specification finished in June 2012- programming: call for tender started in July 2012

- award decision for programming in August 2012



data presentation:



Reprogramming of Web Catalogue:

stopped as a TooLS-project due to expected costs realisation as a cooperation project with the city of Berlin programming financed by the city of Berlin substantive monitoring by DUVA (financed by TooLS) completed in December 2012 current state of work:

- reqirements specification finished in autumn 2011- start of programming in spring 2012



Ceased projects:

New interface (SDMX-standard)

- lack of usable SDMX-standard - no usable results expectable

Security certification

- high costs, certification period limited to two years- not demanded by DUVA users

But: - Safety analysis of DUVA-modules carried out - Safety improvements on basis of analysis implemented
