Acuity: Assessment Features

Designed to be administered in one-two class

periods online or offline

Test items are research based. They have been developed and subjected to

rigorous test item analyses for reliability and validity. .

Terminology –Acuity SpecificTerminology –Acuity Specific

• Role – a defined user with certain access privileges

• Permissions – level of access given to each role within Acuity

• Assignment – allows an individual (student, educator) access to

perform a particular function within Acuity.

• Assigning a test to a student allows the student to physically

take the test.

• Custom test – refers to the function to create a test regardless of

it’s intended purpose

• Instructional Resources – online tutorials

• Tiers – used in reporting student performance

• Diagnostic – refers to the CTB created benchmark assessments
