Classroom PresentationThe basic classroom program is designed for the general public who has minimum, if any experience in dealing with a violent situation. The two-hour class will provide a thorough overview and allow time for a question and answer period with our seasoned professionals. The classroom portion will:
• Provide an Overview of Active Shooting Events • Emergency Notification Procedures• Discuss Basic Safety• First-Aid For Ensanguining Bleeding• Pre-Knowledge/Leakage Occurrences of a Credible Threat• Review the “Run, Hide, Protect and Fight” Concept• Law Enforcement Operations During an Armed Assailant Attack• Improvised Explosive Devices/Threats• Provide an Opportunity for Question and Answers
Classes start at $1,500 per session.The requesting entity is responsible for providing audio/visual equipment for PowerPoint capabilities and a suitable classroom/teaching environment.
Building Security AuditTrained law enforcement personnel will review the facility and provide a written assessment which identifies or recommends:
• Safe Zone Locations• Identity Facility Vulnerabilities• Warning Systems• Notification Systems• ID Systems/Visitor Passes• Lighting• Accountability

Tabletop ExercisePolaris offers tabletop exercises. Tabletop exercises present the participants with a situation which develops progressively and is appropriate for their organization. As the situation unfolds, the participants are provided questions and requested to answer with actions responsive to the situation. Tabletops provide a non-threatening learning experience for your employees or residents and gives them a chance to ask questions. The exercise provides management with information to determine whether facility occupants understand their environment and safety operations and to evaluate whether current response procedures are adequate.
Practical Exercise A practical exercise is a realistic simulation where role players act out an incident. Practical exercises allow your employees or residents to experience a situation and to test whether current response systems have been put into place are effective.Pricing varies depending on the extent of the training requested.

An audit identifies and evaluates the design and features of your building and recommends safety procedures and environmental modifications to mitigate and reduce vulnerability to armed assailant attacks.
Building assessments are conducted by trained law enforcement and fire officials who have decades of collective knowledge and experience.
