Action Taken Report 2012-13
1. The strategies for next five years were set out and initiated compliance of the NAAC
Peer Team recommendations.
2. Academic calendar was implemented strictly.
3. Academic audit of year 2011-12 was conducted on 30 and 31 July 2012. It was planned
to conduct academic and administrative audit of this academic year in the month of
August 2013.
4. The proposals of PBAS (CAS) of concerned teachers were submitted to IQAC for
further action. IQAC scrutinized those proposals and arranged the CAS programme
through Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad department of
Higher Education Aurangabad for the teachers who are due for their promotions.
5. Two Major Research Projects were submitted to UGC and one Minor Research Project
was ongoing. Paper presentation at collage level was organized by Staff Academy. One
faculty member Dr. K. V. Dongargaonkar presented paper at International Conference
held at Shrilanka on 26-27 Feb. 2013.
6. The construction of the indoor stadium started from the budget sanctioned by UGC.
7. The work of website updating was assigned to Shri. Ajay Choudhari and Shri. Anand
Joshi. They did the work throughout the year.
8. IQAC conducted one day workshop on PBAS for teaching staff on 18 March 2013 and
Tally 9 day’s workshop for Non-teaching staff on 19-27 April 2013.
9. Introduced certificate courses in Swami Ramanand Teerth Vichar Pariksha, Women
Empowerment, Stage Craft and Basic Accounting in the second semester.
10. The academic body was framed by the administration in Local Managing Committee
for Commerce and Management, Social sciences and Languages to execute the
procedure and syllabus of certificate courses.
11. Students and teachers were appreciated for their outstanding achievements.
12. Remedial coaching classes were conducted for slow learners by every department after
college hours. Remedial coaching committee provided specific time-table for the same.
13. The feedbacks from different stakeholders on curriculum were collected and analysed
and communicated to University. The feedbacks of students on teachers were collected
and analysed and communicated to concerned teachers with necessary suggestions. All
faculty members reviewed the suggestions given by the IQAC and took necessary
actions.
14. Alumni and Parents-Teachers meetings were conducted on 30th
Jan, 2013.
15. Industrial visit and study tours were organized by department of commerce and
military science.
16. Organised various events such as Mahila Atmabhan Shibir, Ganesh Vyakhyanmala,
Natya Prashikshan Shibir, Summer camp ‘Jagar Tarunaicha’ for UG students, directed
and performrd a play ‘Deal da Momla’ and Late B. K. Sabnis state level elocution
competition during the academic year.
17. A lecture series on Dr. Babasheb Ambedkar’s Annhilition of Caste was organized
during 30th
December, 2012 to 14th
April, 2013. Seventeen were delivered in this series
by various experts. All lectures had been published in a special issue.
18. Kirloskar Vasundhara Movie festival was organized on 29th
and 30th September, 2012
and 9th
October, 2012. Forty movies based on environment themes were played I this
festival.
19. 07 guest lectures of eminent persons were organized by various departments.
20. Training program of Infosys was organized for students.
21. Most of the faculty members used ICT enabled teaching-learning methods. PPTs were
prepared by faculty members and demonstrated in the class. These PPTs were uploaded
on college website for students.
22. The MOUs were established with Yogeshwari Mahavidyalaya Ambajogai, Kholeshwar
Mahavidyalaya, Ambajogai, and Mahila Mahavuidyalaya, Ambajogai for organizing
different programs and students and teachers exchange.
23. The college library subscribed foreign and online journals.
24. Perspective plan was implemented.
Action Taken Report 2013-14
1. The slow learners and advanced learners were identified and conducted different
activities for them by respective departments.
2. Mentor-mentee program was chalked out effectively in the academic year 2013-14.
3. The college timing was 8.00am to 2.00pm which was changed as 8.30am to 2.30pm.
4. The certificate course in Gandhi Vichar Pariksha and diploma course in Gandhian
Philosophy were introduced in the academic year 2013-14.
5. Academic calendar, teaching plans and plan of action were strictly followed by all
faculty members.
6. Academic audit of year 2012-13 was conducted on 07 and 08 August 2013. It was
planned to conduct academic and administrative audit of this academic year in the
month of August 2014.
7. Remedial coaching classes were conducted after college hours and the time table for the
same was provided by the remedial coaching committee.
8. The feedbacks from different stakeholders on curriculum were collected and analyzed
and communicated to University. The feedbacks of students on teachers were collected
and analyzed and communicated to concerned teachers with necessary suggestions. All
faculty members reviewed the suggestions given by the IQAC and took necessary
actions.
9. College established Wi-Fi system for students and faculty members.

15. Dr. Sampada Kulkarni’s Research guide proposal was submitted and sanctioned by the
Concerned University.
16. Dr. K. V. Dongargaonkar submitted minor research project to the UGC.
17. A state level conference was organized on Globalization and Gandhism on 29th January,
2014. The president of the conference was Hon. Dr. Fakruddin Bennur, Solapur.
18. IQAC conducted one day workshop on ‘Quality enhancement and Accreditation
Process’ on 3 Feb 2014, one day workshop on ‘Use of ICT in Teaching-Learning’ on 20
Jan 2013 for teaching staff and one day workshop on ‘Computer Awareness Programme
on Office Automation’ on 28 Dec 2013 for non-teaching staff.
19. ‘Sanwad Melava’ for other state people and inter caste married couples on 22nd
January,
2014. The chief guests for this program were Dr. Arundhati Patil, Prof. R. K.
Choudhary and Shri. Amar Habib. 100 Students participated in this program.
20. The get together for Hamal Mapadi, Sweepers as well as the family members of
Martyred soldiers and the soldiers in service was organized on 26th
January, 2014.
21. The debate competition on NOTA was organized 27th January, 2014 for spreading the
awareness about voting and Indian election process.
22. Organised various events such as Jagar Lokshahich Aplya Sarwancha, Mahila
Atmabhan Shibir, Ganesh Vyakhyanmala, Natya Prashikshan Shibir, professional play
‘Ashadatil Ek Divas’, one act play ‘Soniya’ and ‘Planchit’, celebration of Silver Jubilee
year of Dramatics department and Late B. K. Sabnis state level elocution competition
during the academic year.

to conduct academic and administrative audit of this academic year in the month of August
2015.
4. The certificate course in a study of Medieval Manuscripts from Ambajogai was introduced
in 2014-15.

members.
6. IQAC conducted one day workshop on ‘Research Methodology’ on 23 March 2015 for
teaching staff, one day workshop on ‘Project Writing for Third Year Students’ on 9 Feb
2015 and two days workshop on ‘CMS’ on 26-27 Sept 2014 for non-teaching staff.
7. Different activities were organized under Vachan Katta on 25th
August, 2014. The
program was held in the presence of Hon. Prof. Akhila Gaus. Prof. Abdul Rauf, Wahida
Pathan expressed their views on Urdu Literature and on the biography of Ismat Chuktai’s
Kagadi Peharav.
8. A program on Drougt Eradication was organized on 28th
August, 2014 in the presence of
the renowned water management specialist Hon. Dr Mukund Dharashivkar and The
Magassese Award winner Hon. Dr. Rajendrasingh Rana. The president of the program was
Hon. Major Shantinath Bansode, Joint. Secretary, Joint Secretary, YESAmbajogai.
9. The workshop on Voter Awareness and Voter’s manifesto was organized on 8th
Oct.,
2014. The president of this workshop was Hon. Dr. S. T. Khursale President, YES
Ambajogai.
10. Shtri-Purush Nikop Naate Vikasan Prashikashan Shibir was held during 24 & 26th
January,
2015. The trainers were Hon. Dr. Mohan Deshpande and Hon. Dr. Lina Kulkarnui.
11. A conference on ‘Farmers Suicide: Reasons and Remedies’ was held on 28th
January,
2015. The president of the conference Dr. S. T. Khursale President, YES Ambajogai.
12. A workshop on Garbage Management was organized on 29th
January, 2015. The president
of the workshop was Hon. Jayant Joshi, Environment Expert.
13. Suggestion boxes were affixed in the college campus.
14. Proposals for three national level seminars submitted to UGC for sanctioned.

Jagruti Karyashala (Voters Awareness Workshop) and Mahila Sakshamikaran Abhiyan
(Women Empowerment Campaign).
24. Organized lecture series on ‘Samna Duskalashi’ (Facing Drought).
25. Organized one day training program on library services and facilities for teaching and non-
teaching staff.

members on 28 Nov 2015, one day workshop on ‘ Academic Audit and Documentation’
on 16 Jan 2016 and one day workshop on Stress Management’ on 19 Dec 2015 for non-
teaching staff, .

13. One day workshop on gender equality was organized on 15th
August, 2015 in the
presence of Hon. Anand Pawar.
14. One day conference on “Jal Vyavsthapan” (Water Management).
15. One day Shetkari Parishad (Conference of Farmers) was organized on 26th
January, 2016
in the presence of Hon. Raghunathdada Patil and Hon. Shyamsundar Sonnar.
16. A professional play “Vhay Mi Savitri Boltey” performed by Susma Deshoande
organized by the department of Dramatics.
17. Arakshan Parishad (Reservation Conference) was held on 29th
January, 2016 in the
presence of Hon. Dr S. T. Khursale and Hon. Dr. Hari Narke.

to conduct academic and administrative audit of this academic year in the month of
August 2017.
6. Reliance 4G Wi-Fi facility was installed in Dec 2016 for students and faculties.

same was provided by the remedial coaching committee.
8. IQAC conducted one day workshop on ‘Innovative Teaching Methods’ on 29 April
20174, one day workshop on ‘English Language Proficiency Skill’ on 18 Feb 2017 for
teaching staff and one day workshop on ‘ Library Management’ on 26 Aug 2016 for
non-teaching staff.
9. One day workshop on “Financial Literacy by SEBI “for teachers and students was
organized.
10. One day UGC sponsored National Seminar on “The relevance of Gandhian thoughts in
present era” was organized by Gandhian Studies Center on 24th
March, 2017.
11. One day Sahitya Akadami Sponsored National Seminar on Loksahitya Aur Samaj was
organized by the department of Hindi on 31st March, 2017.

13. A district level Yuva Sankalp Parishad (Youth Detemination Conference) was organized
on the subject “Say No to Violence and Accept Humanity” on 13th
August, 2016. The
resource persons were Hon. Sonali Nagbhide, Adv. Ajay Burande, Prof. Madhav Bavage
and Dr.Shailaja Barure.
14. A gratitude conclave for Sweepers of Municipal Corporation of was organized on the
occasion of the Republic Day 2017. The CEO of Muncipal Corporation of Ambajogai
was the chief guest and Hon. President of YES Dr. S. T. Khursale presented gifts to the
Sweepers.
15. One day workshop on Environmental Life Style was organized on 29th
January, 2017
under the guidance environment expert Hon. Dilip Kulkarni, Kudal.
16. Alumni and Parents-Teachers meetings were conducted on 30th
Jan, 2017.
17. One day training program on CBCS and Grading system for teaching staff and students
was organized.
18. On 11th
March 2017 Bhumipujan ceremony of Mahatma Phule Hostel’s new building
was held.
