Prose Teaching to the Students

• Students should be provided prose reading paragraph wise.

• Unit wise a test should be taken by the Teacher.

• Silent reading should be given.

• Loud reading is also required by the teacher and then

students.

• Paragraph wise MCQ should be asked.

• Extract type questions should be asked paragraph wise.

• Paragraph wise glossary must be introduced.

• Teaching of Word-family must be followed.

Grammar and Hard spots

• Unit wise paragraphs should be selected carrying verb

forms.

• Unit wise paragraphs should be selected carrying function

words like prepositions, relative pronouns.

• Paragraph wise exercises like describing time, action,

persons, places, niceties, good manners, process etc. should

be highlighted.

• Hard Spots

1. Direct-Indirect Speech

2. Verb form Blanks

3. Active-passive voice

4. Present perfect Tense

5. Past perfect Tense

Note: Revise the above mentioned Hard spots often.

TipsforImprovementintheresult

• Spare 5 to 7 minutes daily for their daily preparations.

• Lectures of the experts should be arranged for the

preparations of the Examination. (Many students do not

know how to write the answers and to prepare for the

examination.

• Inspirational and motivational videos should be shown so

that the students can have encouragement for better future.

• As English is a foreign language, basic knowledge of this

language should be taught and for that, extra classes for the

basic should be conducted.

• Teachers should be allowed to conduct the classes in the

school for the weak students by giving monetary help.

• Meeting with the parents is also necessary so far as their

regular study is concerned.

• Before the final exam, 5 standard papers of recognized

schools should be solved including Board’s question

papers.

• Comprehension patterns should be emphasized a lot.

• Method of converting points into sentences should be

taught.

Various sections of the question paper

� Poetry Section :

1. Stanza from the poetry should be recited or sung by

inviting the students on the stage as one of the FA

activities.

2. If rhythm is ready, you should go for it.

3. Audio recording in mobile can be useful.

4. MCQ of the poetry sections should be solved as many as

possible. Stanza wise MCQ should be taught including

various types of questions like rhyming words, similar and

antonyms, true and false, find out the correct meanings.

� Essay writing:

1. Students should not leave essay writing.

2. Essays based on Visits and Persons should be given much

importance.

3. Students should be provided that kind of teaching where

they know little bit about the development of the points.

4. Those types of essays should be included in Assignment

note book.

� Direct-Indirect (Reported Speech)

1. Demo should be shown for what is Direct and Indirect.

2. More and more examples should be provided with

interrogative patterns.

3. Start with sentences and not dialogues.

4. Explain the dialogue just like sentences are being

explained.

5. Constant touch is required.

� E-mail writing:

1. Demo should be shown with the use of computer.

2. Translation method should be used.

3. Separate 40 to 45 sentences should be given in mother

tongue and then into English.

4. The students should be advised not to leave this topic.
