Dear Colleague,
We are excited to invite you to ACP Illinois: Internal Medicine 2019,
designed for busy physicians like you!
We would like to personally invite you and your colleagues in internal medicine to join us at the next scientific meeting of the Illinois Chapter of the American College of Physicians, being held October 25-26, 2019, at the beautiful Hilton Chicago Oak Brook Hills Resort and Conference Center in Oak Brook, Illinois.
The ACP is your trusted resource for the highest quality continuing medical education. Once again this year, we have an outstanding collection of expert speakers and educators that will present on a wide variety of topics. Whether you are a primary care internist, hospitalist, or sub-specialist, our sessions will enrich the work you do as a clinician, educator, and advocate. There is so much great content on the agenda, including talks on the pandemic of firearm injuries, adverse childhood experiences, teaching clinical reasoning, advocacy for internal medicine, updates in hospital medicine, and so much more. In addition, our networking breakfasts and breakouts will allow you to begin and strengthen personal and professional relationships. You will surely enjoy the opportunity to recharge, rewind, and reflect with your peers from all parts of our state.
As you plan your weekend in Oak Brook, please consider bringing your family or friends as Oakbrook and the resort offer many wonderful activities. Oak Brook is home to world class shopping and excellent dining options within a short drive of the resort. And if you decide to stay on premises, the resort offers beautiful walking trails, swimming pool, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course.
We look forward to seeing you in Oak Brook this October.
Sincerely,
Suja Mathew, MD FACP ACP Governor, Illinois Chapter Northern Region
James Graumlich, MD FACP ACP Governor, Illinois Chapter Downstate Region
