The Results

• This study found that there are in fact some precautionary steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of an ACL injury• The second objective of this study did

expose that using neuromuscular electrical stimulation is beneficial for an athlete after an ACL injury

Recommendations

• I would recommend that colleges and universities take these precautionary steps into consideration for their athletes. • I would recommend that kids in middle

school start doing the exercises now to reduce their risk when they get older.
