ObituaryMrs. Geraldine Thompson was born to the parentage of Mattie Lee Thompson and Allen Thompson on April 29, 1934, in Overton, Texas.

She was educated in the Dallas, Texas, school district. She was also a member of New Life Baptist Church in West Dallas.

She departed this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Goldie Simpson; two sisters, Janell Pasby and Aline Jobe; three grandchildren, Kendra Thompson, Maurine Simpson, and Rodrick Simpson; great-grandkids, Jasmine Thompson, Dominique Brown, Danesha Taylor, Gabrielle Eldred, LaKendra Brown, Kendall Alexander, Maurice Gillins, and Jaquez Porter; and two great-great-grandkids, Markell Thompson and Omari Brown.
