Asphalt Paving- Paved asphalt surfaces are designed to provide all-weather use. The aesthetics of any property are enhanced by the clean, smooth look of professionally constructed pavement. Other benefits include enhanced safety because tripping hazards are minimized, improved dust control, and reduced maintenance time.
New Construction: As the name implies, New Construction is the building of new asphalt surfaces. First, excavation and grading of the area performed as necessary to establish desired grade and drainage. Next, an aggregate base course (ABC) is placed and compacted. Finally, a specifically designed asphalt mix is applied to present a finished surface based on the customer’s needs.

Seal Coating- WHY SEALCOAT?Seal coating not only beautifies your investment in your asphalt pavement, but seal coating also more than doubles the life of the pavement. Seal coat to protects the asphalt from ultraviolet light, water penetration and chemical attack. If the asphalt is left untreated and never seal coated the oxidation of the pavement will begin which causes the asphalt to dry and become brittle and this leads to the erosion of the top layer and the appearance of larger stones and small cracks on the surface. Seal coating per manufacturer's instructions costs substantially less than the amount of dollars spent to repair or replace damaged asphalt. As mentioned above, seal coating also beautifies your asphalt pavement. A nice deep black sealcoat finished with crisp marking paint adds to the attractive appearance of your property.
No Sealer Seal Coated
Superior Protection with SealMaster Sealer: We use SealMaster Asphalt Sealers. This is asphalt based material that provides superior protection from sun and weather damage. For additional application longevity, we recommend applying two coats of Seal Coat pavement sealer. Since the initial surface preparation and edge work make up the majority of the cost of the first application, adding a second layer is economical and increases overall durability. Individual customer needs and preferences area also considered.

Crack Filling - Asphalt maintenance goes beyond just seal coating. Most damage to asphalt can occur with water intrusion through cracks in the asphalt. Crack filling is an essential application in addition to seal coating for long term pavement protection.Crack filling is an elastic material designed to fill seal joints and cracks against moisture infiltration into the sub-grade. Cracks in parking lots are not unusual. Sub grade moisture is one of the leading causes of pavement failure, so it is essential
that asphalt cracking is attended to promptly in order to extend the life of the pavement and save money long-term. Typically, we recommend filling cracks and joints ¼ inch or wide or greater. Unsealed cracks allow water to enter and deteriorate the sub grade and eventually the surface, usually resulting in alligatoring, potholes, and the general demise of the pavement.

Asphalt Patch and Repair- a patch is an area of pavement that has been replaced with new material to repair the existing pavement. A patched area or adjacent area usually does not perform as well as an original pavement section. Usually, some roughness is associated with this distress.
Regular Overlay: When an asphalt pavement surface deteriorates to the point of needing repair, an asphalt overlay is an effective solution. A stand asphalt overlay consists of a new layer of asphalt applied over the existing asphalt surface. The thickness of an overlay is typically 1 ½ inches, but type and amount of traffic as well as individual customer’s needs are also considered.
Complete Removal and Replacement: Severe sub grade defects may require complete removal of part or all of the pavement and base material. After the removal of pre-existing conditions in the sub grade such as standing water, or missing aggregate base; the area is prepped for installation of new base material to be rolled & compacted. The new asphalt is then put in place, compacted & rolled to finish the process. After which it ready for striping

Striping - Striping is one of the simplest yet important services Sight Works provides. Clearly marked stalls, handicap spaces, and direction arrows, all make for a more efficient. We will begin by making sure that the surface on which the markings will be placed is free of moisture, dust and debris. The presence of any of these will cause the paint to lose its adhesive properties prematurely and flake.

Dumpster Pads - Where dumpsters are emptied frequently, a concrete dumpster pad is a better alternative to asphalt. Concrete provides a rigid surface to help distribute that load across a wide area, reducing the stress on the soils below. Pads are constructed to endure heavy loads.

Bollards - we are able to install bollards of any size; concrete or steel from 2 inches to 48 inch in diameter. Bollards & signs are crucial to a parking facility. Our bollards are typically 3 to 6 foot deep with 4000 psi concrete.
