I am pleased to introduce Accredo’s BrandStandards. Accredo’s name and logo are amongour our most valuable assets. Establishing andmaintaining logo standards will help ensureinstant recognition of our name, products,and services.

Every organization projects an image — a special visual identity shaped not only by theorganization’s activities but also by itscommunications. Everything Accredo does as acompany — including customer and patientcommunications, internal communications,direct marketing, advertising, collateral and webpages — contributes to our overall image and theimpression that we make.

Our new logo, as the central visual component ofour brand, reflects Accredo’s personalized servicesin support of patients who need specialty medications and customized clinical services totreat their chronic and potentially life-threateningconditions. Accredo’s new brand standards areintended to reinforce recognition of our clinicalexpertise, personal attention, nationwide qualityservices, and the depth and breadth of those services across multiple therapies.

Purpose of These Standards

These standards are designed to:

Accredo’s Brand Standards is the governing tool for all employees and suppliers responsible forimplementing and maintaining the Accredo identityand brand. These standards have been developedthrough careful thought and consideration of themany ways we communicate internally and externally. Adherence to the standards will guarantee brand recognition and continuity, a high standard of quality, and the expression of a consistent identity for Accredo.

All communications and promotions — printed,web-based, or otherwise — should support andreinforce the purity, simplicity, consistency, andimpact of the company’s identity and image.

About Our Logo

The new Accredo logo was designed to reflect ourcore values and attributes. It is a unique visualexpression of who we are and what we stand for.The logo is a symbol of trust and leadership — acompany standard that we display with pride.

Our logo design reflects the personalized supportand clinical expertise evident in the high-qualityservices Accredo provides. The logo’s calming colorand its softly curved, italic face convey Accredo’ssoftness of touch and the warmth of human interaction and personalized services. To balancethese soft attributes, the forward-moving typefacesuggests advancement in our practice of pharmacyand in the advanced technology that supports our operations.

Accredo’s logo is simple, clean, elegant, and light,with a significant amount of white space surroundingit. The use of a design that complements Medco’slogo, as well as the use of an identifier (“a medcocompany”) adds to our rich history of marketleadership, strength, and stability.

This is our main logo and should be used in mostinstances (see page 6 for exceptions). The Accredologo always carries the SM (service mark) flush withthe baseline of the Accredo name.
