About GITAM
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management popularly
known as GITAM, was found in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent
intellectuals and industrialists of combined Andhra Pradesh state.
GITAM is one of the premier centers of higher education in the country.
GITAM has held an unrivalled position in the academic firmament for
over three decades. The learner-centered teaching methodology with
outcome based curriculum designed by academic experts prepares
GITAM graduates to successfully meet academic and corporate
challenges.
The society has taken resolutions to conduct First International
Conference in GITAM (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad under
the dynamic leadership of Prof. E. Kesava Reddy, President-APTSMS.
APSMS has changed to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State for
Mathematical Sciences (APTSMS) in November 2018, under the
leadership of Prof. T. Srinivas, Dept. of Mathematics, Kakatiya
University, Warangal.
Andhra Pradesh Society for Mathematical Sciences (APSMS)
was formed in the year 1986 by Late Prof. N. Ch. Pattabhi
Ramacharyulu, the then Prof. of Mathematics, Regional Engineering
college, Warangal and Prof.P.V.Aruncahalam the then Prof. of
Mathematics, Sri Venkateswara university, Tirupathi and former Vice-
Chancellor, Dravidian University, Kuppam.
About APTSMS
The department of mathematics was established during the
academic year 2009 as part of B.Tech/B.Sc/MBA/ M.Tech programme.
The department has 22 faculty members with doctorate degree.
Research is the major strength of the department with a sharp focus on
thrust areas such as Fluid Dynamics, Bio-fluid Dynamics,
Mathematical Modeling, Functional Analysis, Operations Research,
Algebra and Statistics. The faculty members are actively involved in
research and have published more than 400 research papers, also
successfully completed one UGC major research project.
About the Department
GITAM - School of Technology, Hyderabad established in 2009,
is committed to enhance the potential of human resources and enrich
academic performance and research innovation as well as expand the
frontiers of knowledge through interactive and collaborative pedagogy.
It offers UG and PG programs in Engineering besides PhD program in
Engineering and Sciences. It has state-of-the-art infrastructure and
incorporates value education, social responsibility, and problem
solving skills in the curriculum. It follows goal oriented and innovative
practices to mould students into trustworthy, resourceful and
multitalented professionals.

About the Membership of APTSMS
Corporate membership : Rs. 5,000/-

Corporate members can depute two members as delegates to the
Annual Congress
Life Membership Fee : Rs. 1,000/-

Important Dates
Primarily, the author(s) can submit an unpublished research paper in
any format (MS Word/PDF) for the purpose of presentation in the
conference. After peer review, selected papers will be published in a Web
of Science / a Scopus indexed journal. The publication charges and other
details will be informed to the author(s) after the peer review process.
Authors are cordially invited to submit papers through an

the conference theme and including the following:

International Conference on Mathematical Sciences and
Applications provide an opportunity to bring together leading
