What is school orientation…??School Orientation is an

acronym for Student Orientation, which is an

activity to welcome the new students as a venue to train mental toughness, discipline and strengthens kinship as well as one of the means

the introduction of students to the new environment at

the school, be it a new introduction by fellow

students, seniors, teachers to other employees at the

In the year 2009, a new high school student 16 Surabaya named Aditya Roy Mighty allegedly died of exhaustion on the last day of School Orientation 2. In 2011, Amanda Putri Lubis, the prospective student SMAN 9 South Tangerang City allegedly died from exhaustion following the Orientation School.

If no casualty was all because of implementation of the MOS that is not good. Basically MOS was good and all this can be resolved by returning to the pure purpose of MOS, including:

a. To Introduce new students to new environment of school.

b. To discipline new students.c. To instill love the school.

activities, because these activities are often misused by

the organizing committee, the

The implemented of School Orientation is important because:

Delivering the students adapt to the new school environment, new friends, new teachers, new learning culture and school discipline, and others.

b. School Orientation (MOS) had to go back to the real purpose is a means of introduction of new students .

c. School Orientation (MOS) should be fun not scary.
