In this project, the func! on of the mask is the core of the design concept.

Mask: a surface that arises from our being , our image to the outside world

The project is about a cultural ins tute of languages and cultures.

Building site near danube, area with high-rise,design competence .

Focus: i intended to express -formally-the allegory of how world languages are connected and inter-

act to each other.

The building morphology is a portraiture that occured in my mind when analysing and

tower to tower it becomes part of the building

ated in Naples, Italy

Design process: Dividing volumes and rooms in di erent sizes, and then placing them according to

di erent requirments: museums space programm, need for free space in ground oor-extension of

the nearby situated square.

S! " Altenburg - Kurherberge deals with the topic building in con! nuance. A healt and spa

resort hotel is to be built near Alteburg monastery .

Focus: the building stays low, and plain in the facade with one opening at a side, in order to

stay modest and react as a frame to the monastery. the courtyards-pa! os are an impor-

tant theme: they serve with light, access, they dis! nguish public areas from more private.

Die mi" lere tragende Schachtwand wird aus

sta# schen Grnden behalten:

da ergibt sich eine lineare Struktur, in der die

Nebenrume und die Erschlieung sich ent-

lang der Wand entwickeln.

Dieses dri" es bestehendes Obergeschoss

wird zu einem Schla$ ereich umgebaut:

die Schlafrume sind entweder im Norden

orien# ert oder be nden sich entlang der

durchgehenden Erschliessungszone und sind

dafr durch o ene Lichthfe belichtet.

Im dri" en Obergeschoss (Ebene -1) wird die

Erschliessungszone als Kommunika# onszone,

Erholungsnische..)

Der Entwurf konzentriert sich auf Wohnen in Gruppen: Wohngemeinscha! en.

In der tradi# onellen Wohnstruktur ist die Familie als Grundstein fr die

Wohntypologie. Das Konzept war eine neue Tendenz zu scha en, wo junge Menschen

zusammen wohnen (Zielgruppen sind Studenten, alleinerziehende M" er,

Berufst# ge).
