Long Weekend Voyage
Be one of the first to experience Golden Horizon on this round-trip from Dover, sailing to Cowes
and Torquay. This long weekend away will give you a taste of the tall-ship experience.
15 Jul – 18 Jul 2021 4 nights From £849
Sail along the UK’s south coast on the world’s largest
square-rigged sailing vessel. This long weekend escape
is the perfect chance to experience life on board our new
tall ship, Golden Horizon, a stunning near-replica of the
1913-built France II. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back
in time as the wind flicks the sails and you stand on the
expansive wooden deck, leaving the White Cliffs of Dover
behind.
Bound for Devon, we’ll sail to the seaside town of Torquay
in the English Riviera where guests can admire the busy
harbour and spectacular coastline. We’ll then sail to
Cowes on the Isle of Wight, home to the famous sailing
regatta. You’ll have time to admire the yachts and boats
and soak up the sailing atmosphere before returning to
Dover.

Day 6: Dover
Voyage Itinerary: 19 Jul - 24 Jul 2021
Be part of something special. Our inaugural voyage will set
sail from Dover and skirt the south coast of the UK. Spend
summer days on the wooden deck, watching the sunlight
catch the waves before you slide into the pool for a swim. You
can book a treatment at the on board spa, relax with a good
book in the library or learn from insightful experts who can
teach you about maritime history or astronomy.
The first stop on our voyage is iconic Cowes on the Isle of
Wight, home to the famous sailing regatta. Admire the boats
and yachts in the harbour, relax on Shanklin beach (said to
be the sunniest in the UK) or explore Osborne, an Italian-
inspired mansion that was once the palatial holiday home of
Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
In Plymouth, Britain’s Ocean City, you can follow the
Barbican’s quaint cobbled quayside to the famous Mayflower
Steps, an area where the Pilgrims are believed to have first
departed England in 1620. Admire over 4000 sea creatures
at the huge National Marine Aquarium; or spend time on one
of the UK’s best beaches either side of Plymouth, followed by
a fresh seafood lunch in one of the local marina restaurants.

South Coast Staycation
Embrace summer in the UK, sailing along the south coast on the world’s largest square-rigged
sailing vessel. En route, discover Portsmouth, Plymouth, Falmouth, Dartmouth and Poole.
24 Jul - 31 Jul 2021 7 nights From £1,499
Have you ever been on a sea-cation? Stay closer to
home this summer and sail along the south coast of the
UK. As we approach Portsmouth, you’ll see the Spinnaker
Tower rising into view. Take a trip up the 170-metre
viewing tower for incredible panoramas. You can shop
‘til you drop at Gunwharf Quays or head to Portsmouth
Historic Dockyard to step aboard world-famous ships,
warships and submarines. We’d also recommend seeing
the remains of Queen Mary Rose, King Henry VIII’s
favourite ship, for a fascinating look back in history.
In Falmouth, wander around the harbour’s quaint
galleries and quirky shops, offering Cornish pasties
and sweet homemade fudge. The town itself has a rich
history of pirate activity and the nearby Lizard Peninsula
offers craggy cliff tops, white-sand beaches and
astonishingly clear-blue waters.
Dartmouth is a jumble of narrow streets, staircases and
wonky houses painted in pastel colours. At the lovely
harbour, you’ll find a chic yachting crowd and regular
riverboat cruises along the River Dart, taking you past
Dartmouth Castle and back again via the quaint steam
railway. Our next port is Poole’s natural harbour. Poole
will tempt you with its five world-class Blue Flag Beaches;
or you could visit the National Trust’s Brownsea Island for
a spot of bird-watching or a wander through the calming
Cambridge Woods Walk.

Cowes Week Taster
Sail on a spectacular tall ship to the Isle of Wight during
Cowes Week – the world’s oldest and largest annual
sailing regatta. If you are a sailing fan, this is a
once-in-a-lifetime experience.
31 Jul - 04 Aug 2021 4 nights From £849
Day 1: Dover
Day 2: Cowes
Day 3: Torquay
Day 4: Sailing
Day 5: Harwich
Voyage Itinerary: 31 Jul - 04 Aug 2021
This special voyage visits the Isle of Wight during Cowes Week – the
world’s oldest and largest annual sailing regatta. For sailing fans, this
is a one-of-a-kind experience. Cowes Week dates back to 1826 and
around 8000 competitors participate in the week-long event. It’s
a remarkable way to see world-class sailing action, with champion
yachtsmen and sailing enthusiasts all taking to the water. We’ll anchor
off the coast of Cowes and watch the action unfold.
The races are scheduled to start at 10am each morning and, if you’d
rather watch the competitors from a high vantage point on land, head
to the area between the Castle of the Royal Yacht Squadron and the
cannons. If the races aren’t of interest, you’ll find Osborne close by. This
Italian-inspired mansion was once the palatial holiday home of Queen
Victoria and Prince Albert.
Our next port of call is Torquay in the English Riviera. Spend time in the
harbour, enjoying lunch in one of the restaurants or cafes overlooking
the boats. Tick off English-holiday classics such as crazy golf and an
open-top bus tour, or visit the 800-year-old Torre Abbey and the
Spanish Barn. Torquay has a choice of sand and shingle shorelines
for time on the beach and Oddicombe Beach can be reached on the
amazing Babbacombe Cliff Railway. Wander through the famous
Pavilion Gardens and hop in the English Riviera Wheel for views over
the harbour. We’ll then spend a full day at sea as we skirt the south
coast and sail to our final stop in Harwich, Essex.
