The AC 100 and AC+USB 200 Power Modules feature powered sockets for powering and charging compatible mobile devices. Some models may contain an external power supply. Where applicable, follow the steps to install and secure the power module. See the ATTENTION below before installing the power module.

WARNING: To ensure proper electrical grounding, use the provided #6-32 grounding screws and star washers.

• Unless otherwise stated, the AC/DC adapters are not suitable for use in air handling spaces or in wall cavities. The external power supply that is included in selected models is to be located within the same vicinity as the Extron AV processing equipment in an ordinary location, Pollution Degree 2, secured to the equipment rack within the dedicated closet, podium, or desk.

AC 100 and AC+USB 200 Conduit Power Module Series

The AC 100 and AC+USB 200 Conduit Power Module Series features a flexible metal conduit attached to the power module. Run the unattached end of this power module to a UL listed junction box and wire it as shown below.

NOTE: Extron recommends that the circuit be attached to a UL listed junction box that is directly wired to the main circuit. The AC power module does not have a fuse and is rated at 15 A maximum.

WARNING:

AVERTISSEMENT :• Switch off all electrical power before connecting the AC conduit to a junction box, and keep power off until installation is

complete.

Twist together the hot wire from the conduit with the black (hot) wire from the power module.

Twist together the neutral wire from the conduit with the white (neutral) wire from the power module.

Connect the green (ground) wire from the power moduleto the ground terminal on the junction box.

1 NOTE: For steps 1 and 2, twist a wire nut or other appropriate splicing connector (not provided) onto each twisted pair. Use tie wraps if necessary.
