Biopore are holes in the ground formed by various activities of organisms in the ground, such as worms, plant roots, termites and other soil fauna. The purpose of this study was to utilize organic waste as a raw material of composting process and find the best conditions of composting by the use of Biopore Absorbing Hole. Biopore Absorbing Hole (BAH) is a cylindrical hole created vertically into the ground with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of about 100 cm, or in the case of soil with a shallow water table, not to exceed the depth of the groundwater. The hole was filled with organic waste to create biopore. Dry leaves were used as organic waste. The analysis performed was a test of water absorption in the soil, measuring the height of waste reduction, calculating the precentage of total decomposition and value of BAH. The variables analyzed were distinguished by the entry of raw materials (batch & continuous BAH), humidity (Drainage & Dry BAH) and depth (BAH 1 m, m ¾, and ½ m). The best condition of BAH was divided by three parts of BAH, i.e. depth of 1 meter, with continuous waste feeding, and humid condition. Water infiltration in the soil depended on soil characteristics and maximum water absorption power at the beginning (V0) of 1.2 L / min obtained from continuous BAH. After composting process the water infiltration increased. The maximum water infiltration at the end (Va) was 18.05 obtained from the dry BAH.
