CX-Plus is an ideal, self-curing Glass Ionomer luting cement designed for minimally invasive dentistry. Indicated for cementing crowns, inlays, long span bridges and orthodontic appliances, CX-Plus has a high compressive strength, low film thickness and is radiopaque. It is resistant to water contamination and can exist in a moist environment.

CX-Plus Capsules bond to both enamel and dentin to provide an excellent marginal seal thus minimizing post-operative sensitivity. Additional features are its high fluoride release and low levels of acid erosion. These, combined with its superior handling, fast setting time and 3 year shelf-life make CX-Plus an ideal luting cement.

Shofu’s GlasIonomer Cement CX-Plus is currently available in powder/liquid form and now coming

to you in a more convenient delivery system, the capsule! For application simply shake the capsule to loosen the powder, push in plunger to activate and mix for 10 seconds. Total setting time is 4 minutes 10 seconds from start of mixing. With easy delivery and fast setting time, CX-Plus is a huge time saver for doctors, allowing them to see more patients throughout the day.

Bulk fill resin-based composites are continuing to improve in terms of quality and aesthetics but, despite their growing recognition, many dentists continue to be weary of embracing these newly emerging products. Shofu’s new bulk fill composites, Beautifil-Bulk Flowable and Beautifil-Bulk Restorative, incorporate the unique bioactive Giomer technology, a surface pre-reacted glass filler, to overcome these challenges.

Giomer technology provides excellent preventative benefits including high fluoride release/recharge, acid neutralization and an anti-plaque effect. create a better aesthetic and more opaque shade result. Giomer particles sizes are varied to allow dense distribution within the resin material resulting in a higher filler ratio to help reduce shrinkage stress. According to Vickers Hardness test results, both Beautitfil Bulk products achieved over 95% polymerization, outperforming leading competitors. Our Beautifil-Bulk products also exhibited impressively low shrinkage stress, high compressive strength and radiopacity.

Available now, Beautifil-Bulk Flowable is used primarily as a base/liner in class I-II direct restorations. Its self-leveling feature allows ideal adaptation in deep cavity preparations and reduces the need to manipulate the material. It is currently available as a syringe in shades universal and dentin.

Coming soon, Beautifil-Bulk Restorative is a conventional packable composite resin indicated for direct posterior restorations including occlusal surfaces. It has excellent condensability and sculptability ideal for posterior restorations with minimized shade difference before and after light curing. Available in a syringe, Beautifil-Bulk Restorative comes in both an A shade and Universal.
