About The Villa Located on the ultra-desirable Kamala headland on the west coast of Phuket, Villa 2 in the prestigious Ayara Kamala project was built and completed in 2003 on a spectacular 1.5 rai/2,400 square metre ocean front plot of land. Even though it was solidly built with a sound structure and good materials throughout, sadly, the villa was left partly neglected as the owner was very rarely visiting Phuket and the villa. Purchased in late 2012, a total renovation was started in January 2013 and we hope to complete the project around August 2013. Even though the villa was completed only 10 years ago, times have changed dramatically on the popular holiday island of Phuket. Building materials not available 10 years ago are now ‘standard’, there are many new technologies in terms of villa entertainment (lighting, sound, music, internet etc), styles have changes, and so have the minds of the users of these villas. The tropical climate with year round high air humidity, the extremely strong rays of the sun, strong presence of termites etc. can take a heavy toll on the finest villas. And combined with the location on the west coast of Phuket, sitting on the rocks above the seasonal strong surfs of the Indian Ocean, the choice of strong building material and constant maintenance is extremely important. Especially when you are going to welcome visitor who demand nothing but the utmost in terms of quality and style. This villa has a total internal floor area of approximately 1,000 square metres, which was mainly dark Maka wood. Furniture was mostly built-in, using a dark oak colour. When completed, this villa will be presented with a modern look, using light colours and cool materials such as stone, terrazzo and glass throughout.

About The Villa

Located on the ultra-desirable Kamala headland on the west coast of Phuket, Villa 2 in the prestigious Ayara Kamala project was built and completed in 2003 on a spectacular 1.5 rai/2,400 square metre ocean front plot of land. Even though it was solidly built with a sound structure and good materials throughout, sadly, the villa was left partly neglected as the owner was very rarely visiting Phuket and the villa.

Purchased in late 2012, a total renovation

was started in January 2013 and we hope

to complete the project around August

2013.

Even though the villa was completed only

10 years ago, times have changed

dramatically on the popular holiday island

of Phuket. Building materials not available

10 years ago are now ‘standard’, there are

many new technologies in terms of villa

entertainment (lighting, sound, music,

internet etc), styles have changes, and so

have the minds of the users of these villas.

The tropical climate with year round high

air humidity, the extremely strong rays of

the sun, strong presence of termites etc.

can take a heavy toll on the finest villas.

And combined with the location on the

west coast of Phuket, sitting on the rocks

above the seasonal strong surfs of the

Indian Ocean, the choice of strong building

material and constant maintenance is

extremely important. Especially when you

are going to welcome visitor who demand

nothing but the utmost in terms of quality

and style.

This villa has a total internal floor area of

approximately 1,000 square metres, which

was mainly dark Maka wood. Furniture

was mostly built-in, using a dark oak

colour. When completed, this villa will be presented with a modern look, using light colours and cool materials such as

stone, terrazzo and glass throughout.

The villa boasts a total indoor/outdoor living space of approximately 2200 square meters and can sleep as many as 14 adults comfortably, more with the use of extra beds.

Due to its location and villa layout, all rooms are facing the blue ocean. And due to its expansive area, you are spoilt for choice when considering where to relax at any particular time of the day. There are numerous balconies and decks throughout the property, and a pool bar where you can be served the most delicious cocktails or thirst quenching drinks.

The kitchen also features a breakfast/lunch bar, seating 6, from where you can be served meals in a more informal setting. There are also plenty of seating outside. Dinner is usually served in the more formal dining room, either along a long table or 4 individual tables. Should you with to dine under the stars, tables will be set up on the terrace or on the lawn.

At the lower level of the villa you can find the gym. There is also a pool table, dartboard, bar area, and an extensive board game collection, as well as a selection of books and DVDs.

Our villa also features a superbly equipped cinema with 8 arm chairs.

Should you feel exhausted after a full day on the beach, you can then book a massage with our villa manager in our beautifully designed spa. Here are also showers as well as a steam room.

The villa also boasts a stunning infinity pool that is ideal for recreation or swimming laps. There is a sala, for those who would like to simply enjoy the most incredible views or zoom in on the many sleek yachts passing by. But then again, you might as well just hang out in your private living area in the Jacuzzi and take in the views…
