INNOMAG pumps are made and assembled in our factory in the USA
TB-Mag Series -Thrust BalancingHighest Quality Components
About Innomag: The Company Cont.• Fast prototyping
• Fast lead times
• Close cooperation with vendors
• Highly Experienced Engineering design team
About Innomag – Pump testingPump Testing• All wet-ends run tested• Disassembled and
Inspected• Hydrostatic tested to
450 psi (31 bar) • 50Hz and variable
speed testing available.
TB-Mag Series - Overview
• ASME/ANSI and ISO models.• Continuous duty process pumps
TB-mag Series - Construction and features
• Thrust balanced• Solids handling – unique to mag-drives• Permeation protected magnets• Single piece impeller• Totally open suction, lowest NPSHr
Construction and Features
TB-Mag Series -Thrust Balancing• By creating distinct pressure zones
in the pump, we can use those pressures to regulate & control the forces on the impeller
• As the impeller moves forward, the pressure surrounding the inner magnet is reduced. This creates a restoring force. For momentary excursions, the impeller will bounce back. For prolonged changes, impeller will seek new equilibrium position

Solids Handling
Wear rings create a clearance of only 0.005” (.127mm), anything larger can’t hurt the magnets or lock up the bearings.
TB-Mag Series - Solids Handling Intro
• TB-mags can handle solids up to 30%• If it can travel through the vanes of the impeller, the
pump can handle it• Solids must be softer than SiC• Start-up and shut-down must be evaluated• Erosion must still be considered
Superior Solids Handling
TB-Mag Series - Tru-Seal Permeation Protection
• All fluoroplastics are inherently permeable.• While the fluoroplastics are extremely
chemical resistant, the magnets are not. • Magnets are covered with a stainless can,
welded air tight, before being encapsulated in plastic. This patented process is the best permeation protection available.
• Greatly extends the impeller life due to fluorine or chlorine ions that permeate the plastic and attack the magnets. Lifespan for an unprotected impeller is between 6-14 months.
• 2 piece impellers do not save you money as failures usually result in damage to both the impeller AND magnet assembly, completely negating the benefits of a 2 piece impeller.

TB-Mag Series - Cantilevered Design
• Unique Design• Fully open suction• Lowest NPSHr• Better Efficiencies

U-Mag Series - Features
• Sub-ANSI model• Thrust forward design• Universal flanges for
complete compatibility• Virgin PFA option for
semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or other high purity industry
• Same chemical compatibility as TB-mag with double welded impeller
• Low Cost
Features
The U-Mag Series
U-Mag Series - ConstructionU-Mag Construction
Mates NEMA C-faced or
IEC D-flange motors
directly (no spacer plates
required).Universal foot supports
entire pump load. Fully bonded ETFE or optional
High Purity PFA liner -
minimum of 1/8” (3 mm) thick
and rated to full vacuum.
Fully open suction for
lowest NPSHr.
Optional High Purity PFA
Universal chemical resistance with
fluoroplastic ETFE as standard.
U-Mag Series - PFA PFA
• High purity fluoroplastic• Ultra low contaminants,
tested to less than 2 PPB.• Excellent for semi-
conductor, LCD and circuit board manufacturing
Applications - Semiconductor Industry
• High purity standards require PFA material on process/recycle streams
• Acids and other etching solutions(HF, HCL, etc.)• Acetone• Hydrogen Peroxide• MEK, methanol, peroxide, TMAH• Xylene• Caustic
