About iDevelop At a time when the continuous improvement of competences and
qualifications has become a reality, a teacher who possesses substantial and
empirical knowledge is an integral part of the school environment.
iDevelop is an international training provider specialized in the development of
professionals working in the educational sector by promoting, supporting and
providing training activities in accordance with the Erasmus+ principles.
It constitutes the teachers training department of euroMind Group, an
international training and internship consultancy aimed at VET sector.
Many years of experience working closely with schools all over Europe has
allowed us to reach a deep understanding of the reality of the teaching sector.
Hence, iDevelop is able to observe the needs, new tendencies and the continuous changes the educational
system is undergoing.
Thanks to this background, iDevelop have launched a wide range of courses and training events which provide
all the necessary tools to improve the skills of teachers and school staff.
The training courses offered by iDevelop were designed in cooperation with experts with an extensive
experience in the field of education. Topics covered in our training courses are all
related to educational issues, such as: motivation, new teaching methods,
emotional balance and the use of new communication and information
technologies.
In the technology era, apart from putting digital boards the classroom, uploading documents into a website and browsing for some information, technology hasn´t deeply transformed education yet. However, a huge transformation or investment is not necessary, a lot can be achieved only by taking advantage of the devices that the students already carry with them and have at home.
Facing ICT in classroom and using the extraordinary, maybe even overwhelming, amount of resources available in the web is quite challenging for teachers.
The scope of this course will cover all the stages creating a Digital Classroom, from research to assessment, in order to facilitate the teacher’s job.

Day 1 (5 hours)
Preparing your lesson
Introduction to the course: Expected learning outcomes. Preliminary evaluation: Initial Assessment. Creating a Google Account. Blended Learning and Flipped Classroom definition, characteristics and current trends. Project Based Learning (PBL). Types of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Group discussion: How do we plan a Digital Classroom lesson? Workshop 1: Preparing the class. Research and collect information for the project by using
Google Tools (Drive, Keep) and Evernote.
Day 2 (5 hours)
Preparing your tools
Collaborative work tools with Google Apps. Cloud based classroom environment: Google Classroom. Group discussion: What do our students expect from their learning? Communication activities: forums, chats, surveys (choice and feedback). Types of digital activities and resources. Workshop 2: Create a blog in Blogger. Workshop 3: Tools for modifying our resources: Picasa (Photo Editor), PicCollage and
PhotoGrid (collage), Skitch (integrated tool with Evernote).
Day 3 (5 hours) Creating
activities and resources
Educational Resources Choosing the right activity for each learning outcome. Wiki: Collaborative tool for projects (wikispaces). Workshop 4: Create a Google Sites for students. Audio recording and edition: Audacity. Workshop 5: Create an eBook using Book Creator. Workshop 6: Create a presentation using Google Slides.
Day 4 (5 hours)
Creating video lessons
Video platforms. Reseaching for lessons: Youtube, Khan Academy and TedEd. Copyright compliance and the use of external resources. Video edition: Show Me, VideoPad and iMovie (video editor). Workshop 7: Create a video tutorial using Screen Cast. Workshop 8: Create a video for a Flipped Classroom lesson using Explain Everything
(interactive screencasting whiteboard). Video enrichment with EDPuzzle
Day 5 (5 hours) Assess & Feedback
Group discussion: How to make parents involved in our classroom: ClassDojo (class management) and EdModo (Private Social Network).
Group discussion: How to create effective and engaging assessment? Types of cloud storage solution for homework and sharing files. Group discussion: choose a shared storage solution. Workshop 9: Creating a quick assessment with Google Forms. Interactive assessment tools such as Kahoot (gamification assess). Workshop 10: Create an assessment using Socrative (real-time formative assessments).

Course Programme
By completing this course you will acquire new competencies and will be able to:
1. Understand different models of instruction using ICT. 2. Learn how to use collaborative tools using cloud computing tools: Google Apps 3. Understand the Flipped Classroom Methodology. 4. Search and select appropriate already available videos and other resources. 5. Create video resources: Record, edit and deliver video. 6. Create audiovisual interactive activities. 7. Deal with main issues using technology in class. 8. Make students create their own content. 9. Get instant feedback from students. 10. Use different ways of getting a quick and easy assessment.
Learning Outcomes
How the skills learnt can be applied in teaching work? 1. Getting to know how to use a diversity of digital resources in order to
make activities more interesting for students. 2. Increasing student´s engagement and motivation. 3. Taking advantage of student´s devices in and out of the classroom. 4. Developing collaborative activities. 5. Increasing performance and effectiveness in the preparation of the
lessons. 6. Taking advantage of available resources for the classroom, free and
easy to use. 7. Being more effective teachers, spending more time on students rather
than bureaucracy. 8. Offering students more support on ICT.
The methodology applied during the course is ‘learning by doing’, in the way of a guided tutorial. The
teacher, after explaining briefly some concepts and an approach to the tools needed, proposes a project
in which the students will have to create some educational resources for the classroom. The teacher
becomes then a support, helping students on their learning experience. There will be a test to assess the
learning outcomes.

Pablo is a Systems Engineer with a passion for delivering ICT courses for different age groups, ranging from children to IT Engineers. He has a broad experience in many different technologies and possesses several professional certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and Google.
He works in the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) in Malaga as an IT Manager in an international company. In the last years he has specialised in Cloud Computing Tools and worked as Google Apps Specialist, training professionals of all kind in how to change from traditional to cloud based office and educative tools.
He has a Master´s degree in Secondary Education and Vocational Studies, teaching Computer Sciences with a recent and successful project based in Flipped Classroom and educative ICT.
