APU REPAIR / OVERHAUL
The Dublin Aerospace APU Service Centre at Dublin Airport provides
world-class overhaul, repair and modification services for auxiliary
power units (APU). Our state-of-the-art facility includes a test cell which
accommodates all major Honeywell APUs. With an expert team of
highly-trained mechanics and engineers, the APU Service Centre is
particularly well equipped to support operators with multiple APU types.
Through our strong relationships with the various OEMs, we have
developed successful alliances for the repair and overhaul of a wide
range of APU parts. Our APU mechanics receive OEM training and all
equipment and tooling is purchased directly from the manufacturer,
which helps maintain the value of your APU at lease end.
We use lean production techniques and one-piece flow to
increase performance.
The APUs are built on an assembly line, with new, reworked,
inspected and tested parts, delivered for reassembly on a
just-in-time basis. This results in reduced build and turn around
times, which save our customers money. The workshop repairs line
replaceable units in-house, and provides APU end-of-lease work
scope support. The APU turn around time can be tailored to suit
any aircraft undergoing an end of lease check.
