He is fully recovered from the first operation and

went to Dharmavaram to see his mother and other

family members. Abhaya took care of him for almost

3 months and given travel charges. However there

was a call from a well wisher at Puttaparthy stating

that that Nagaraju is trying to show medical

certificates to the public there and seeking

Rs.2,00,000/- for 2nd operation whereas abhaya

already did arrangements for him at Rajyalakshmi

Hospital! Knowing about it, the well wishers advised

him not to mislead and go back to Hyderabad.

She is now slowly gaining strength to

walk on her own. But facing some

complications due to general

weakness in body. She would be

infused with blood at the Hospital.

again approached her stating that they

wish to help her in setting up a kiran

shop on the road side. Dr. Jitendra

Kumar yet to pay his 3rd visit to her

and provide expert advice. She is

confident of walking.

near Bhadrachalam for the last 3 months.

There was a call from his father Mohan Rao

stating that boy is becoming weak. Abhaya

suggested him to take the boy to the doctor at

Bhadrachalam from Chathisgarh and

provided them Rs.12, 000/- for the travel

expenses for car. He needs to have at least

Rs.5,00,000/- for getting operated.

He is slowly recovering from the injuries.

Further operations are being done during the

last month. Now he is able to stand and walk

slowly. Abhaya provided further amount of

Rs.20,000/- to the family for meeting the

medical expenses. Also suggested that they

can call all the Mission Santosh Team for a

dinner and express gratitude for their

support. Abhaya told them that this would be

hosted by abhaya.

He is being given all the

medicines prescribed by doctors

at SWEEKAR, Hyderabad for the

past one month. Mother

Anjanamma would be bringing

him to Hyderabad during the next

month for further consultancy.

PM Relief Fund sanctioned Rs.50,000/-

and he just finished his B.Com exams

during the last month. Abhaya could

now pool Rs. 3,50,000/- directly and

indirectly. What we need is about

Rs.1,00,000/- to get the prescribed

injections at NIMS. He would be

visiting Hyderabad during May'11. He

is confident of getting well soon.

settled at Hyderabad along

with his family. Father is a daily

wage driver. Ananth is now

pursuing his BE at VMRIT,

Medchal. He is suffering from

severe stomach ache since last

one year or so. When

consulted with doctors, they

said that it would be better he

undergo an operation which

may cost about Rs.25,000/-

and this is to be done at the

earliest opportunity. This boy

is being referred by CS.PS Rao,

Trustee, abhaya Foundation.

While interacting with Ananth

and his father we understood

that the need is just not the

operation and cost but it is

more than that. Abhaya

counseled them and suggested

to be in touch with abhaya

team while he is pursuing his

BE and thereafter as well. The

father is being advised to pool

as much resources as possible

without taking loans so that

rest of the amount can be

arranged by abhaya to get him

operated in the month of

May'2011.

Rajanikanth approached abhaya seeking help to complete his MBA. He had to stop his studies after his degree and did couple of

temporary jobs to sustain with his family. Though he stopped his studies, his desire to study is still in the bottom of his heart. Last year he

realized that with such salary he can't progress in life and determined to do MBA. He appeared for ICET and Joined MBA and also working

part time as a computer assistant. His fee can be reimbursed by the government and food & boarding has been provided by a trust. His

salary is being sent to his mother for her sustenance. He is very confident about his studies and it has been observed that there is confidence

in his talk and face. At present he needs to be supported by abhaya. The Exam fee and term fee totaling to Rs. 10,000/- being sanctioned to

him. His ailing mother also being taken care.

Abhaya felt very happy talking to The English School in regard to providing English coaching to 4 Rural Girl Kids (Leela, Nagaveni,

Swarna & Aparna) coming from a remote villages in AP. These girls are coming from very rural back ground and they do not have

any English speaking skills. These girls are being accommodated at abhaya home, Hyderabad. Necessary arrangements made for

their comfortable stay at Hyderabad and classes. The management of English School, understanding the good work initiated by

abhaya offered 60 days English Basics Classes on affordable fee. These girls were also given basic computer training during the

day time. They also had an opportunity to work at the office of ROC, Hyderabad for a temporary period of 2 weeks.

K. Maheswari & C.Baby for their wonderful support in encouraging these girls at Hyderabad.

Abhaya visited Amruthavarshini and her mother at Hindupur. She is back to home for Summer Holidays. She is pursuing her Final year

B.Sc.,(Maths) whose education is being supported by the Foundation along with Sai Organisation at Hindupur. She always stood exemplary in

academics, co curricular (sports, Study Hour in charge) and extra-curricular activities(in charge of Garlands, Transport, Dispensary etc.,) in the

college. Always she was one among the top 5 students in the class. She need to pay Rs.20,000/- for the next academic year for meeting the Mess

Bill/ Books Bill. Her mother is being taken care by Sai Organisation by providing her an opportunity as care taker of Sai Orphanage. Abhaya is

proud know this girl as she is very intelligent and focused in life to bring smiles to her mother and do good work in the society.

Tirupatamma is a class X student from a remote village in Mahaboobnagar. Her parents are daily labors in Hyderabad and she is

studying with her sister in a BC hostel. She has three sisters and she is the second one. Both her younger sisters are studying in

high school. As her parents can't afford for further studies, her father asked her to choose a job. She has been referred to abhaya by

Ms.Jyothsna to guide her in search of a job in APSRTC. She wanted to be a conductor and wants know the process of applying for

that. After listening to her and understanding her situation, we feel that she should continue her studies. Their parents don't have

any objection, if someone assists for her fee. Abhaya is considering to provide all the possible support to her in consultation with

her parents.

Sri Vitthal, Manipal (Karnataka) to impress up on the land

lord to provide the space for School Kitchen. He promised

that he would give the space on rent till the property is

disposed. Though this is essential to have the land for

future use, abhaya thought it not appropriate at this point

of time as the market value of the land is about Rs.20Lakhs. Priyadarshani Traders, Kurnool provided 2 pairs

of uniforms costing about Rs.75,000/- to entire school students and teaching staff. Abhaya wish to place its sincere

gratitude to all the team who stood besides development of abhaya Vignan School.

communication is yet to be received from the Government. Now abhaya can accept Foreign Currency contributions from abroad. Thanks to

the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi. A special note of thanks to the Under Secretary, Sri HK Kawallienthang for his

I am thankful to abhaya: This is Maheshwari who joined abhaya as an Accountant couple of months back wish to share with you that I am thankful

to abhaya s for giving me this opportunity. I started coming at around 9.30AM every day and trying to do breathing exercise and meditation for a while. I learnt Tally

Accounting Package about 4 years back but now I am practically working with Tally. I am able to enter Payment and Receipt Vouchers, Bank Reconciliation, Fund

Transfers between banks and also able to file cash vouchers and Bank vouchers. Now I am able to enter the current year data in the system in the Tally. This is a

routine job for me for a half day.

I am engaging myself in preparing for MBA Exams during the second half of the day. I would then be spending couple of hours in teaching about computer basics to

abhaya rural girls with the help of material provided by abhaya. I thank for the opportunity and I am happy that I had been taken care in every single aspect of life at

abhaya and also happy to serve the needy people. - Maheshwari.

I met Mr. Sandeep Desai of Shloka Missionaries last

week at his residence. This gentleman has dedicated

his life for imparting, free of cost, quality education to

needy and poor students.

Just to let you know, he funds these charitable acts

through donations from like minded people – to the

extent that he does not even feel ashamed to move in

local trains and raise donations from fellow train

travelers.

He is a Marine Engineer by qualification and was a

visiting faculty to the Management Institutes for

many years. These days, to focus more on his mission

of imparting education, he has now taken the role of a

visiting lecturer and conducting seminars.

During our meeting, I did brief him about your

charitable noble acts through Abhaya and similar

intentions of both the organizations for the

betterment of the society. He had expressed interest

in interacting with you and to also explore if they can

assist you in the education cause for Andhra Pradesh

while seeking your help for the Maharashtra state.

& SR Nagar. These students are being motivated by Sai Youth of Hyderabad and mobilized them for providing free

training on Testing Tools (SR Nagar) and Soft Skills & English Classes (Himayath Nagar) for increasing their

employability, The Founder spoke about importance of Communication Skills in the current society and awaken the

souls of the young students, they were all very attentive all through the meeting with lots of enthusiasm. We involved

I have visited Sanjay on this Saturday to understand his need. He

rented a small grossary shop from last three months with initial

investment of 40,000/-. As of now, some eatables and snacks are

available in the shop. As the shop owner has a big general stores

they gave this shop for rent with all the available furniture and

equipment (oven, fridge). Rent for this shop is Rs.2,500/-. In the

surroundings there are two apartments in finishing stage. This shop

can have regular income with those apartments as there are no

shops in next 2-3 streets. After checking the shop, i feel some minor

repairs are needed to run the shop with kirana items. With current investment, he is able

to sell goods around Rs.1500/- with profit of Rs.200/- a day. This can be more than

Rs.2000/- if there are some kirana items. He need another Rs.40,000/-

to start that. I hope he can earn Rs.5000/- to Rs.6000/- easily after all

the expenses. He can continue his job as a driver and his wife and

Abhaya’s piligrimage to Puttaparthi, Kadiri & Lepakshi

Puttaparti Visit. Sunil, (Mission Ananth) called me yesterday and I

would be seeking the support of abhaya in reprogramming the life

of Sunil's family here at Bengaluru. Please advice me on Your plan

as he is expecting Rs. 60 to 70K. Personally I would like to

contribute Rs.3000/- to the said mission and ready

to remit the same to the foundation by 26th this

month.
