Sometimes we are angry or sad when we first find out we have diabetes.

Special people called diabetes educators can teach us how to stay well.Taking our insulin helps the glucose or sugar in food enter the cells in our bodies.

This way we have lots of energy so we can play with our friends, make brilliant inventions and dream of places we’ll go.
