You deserve a clean, healthy and safe environment. Asbestos, lead and mold can lead to serious health issues. The only way to know if your business has these hazards is to have it analyzed. For information on removing these problems from your

business, contact Corcraft. We bring more than 25 years of experience to the table.

AsbestosAsbestos can refer to any combination of fibers known for their heat and flame resistance, indestructible qualities and strength. Asbestos was used for decades in the development of thousands of products. It can be found in roofing and siding shingles, insulation, textured paint and patching compounds, vinyl floor tiles and pipe insulation.

Although asbestos was banned by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the 1970s, it is still found in many commercial settings. It continues to pose a health risk. Persons exposed to asbestos have developed life-threatening illnesses, including cancer.

LeadLead-based paint has been banned in the United States since 1978, however it is still on walls and woodwork in many older buildings. Other sources of lead include lead pipes, brass plumbing fixtures and copper pipes soldered with lead.

Signs and symptoms of prolonged lead exposure in adults include high blood pressure, joint and muscle pain, memory/concentration issues, headache, abdominal pain and reproductive issues.

MoldMolds are found in virtually every environment and can be detected, both indoors and outdoors, year round. Mold growth is encouraged by warm and humid conditions. Indoors they can be found where humidity levels are high.

Some people are sensitive to molds. For these people, exposure can cause nasal stuffiness, eye irritation, wheezing or skin irritation. People with serious allergies to molds may have fever and shortness of breath. Others with chronic lung illnesses, such as obstructive lung disease, may develop mold infections in their lungs.
