Details[Phenomenon]Fogged or ghost images may occur due to burning out of the pre-conditioning exposure lamp.
[Cause]The filament of the fuse lamp is weaker than the designed value, thus a broken wire is likely to occurdue to production variation.
[Factory measure]To improve the durability of the pre-conditioning exposure lamp, the material comprising the filament ofthe fuse lamp and its wire diameter have been changed.
How to distinguish between the old and new parts: The last two digits of the lot number marked on thepre-conditioning exposure lamp PCB (FM5-5005) are “02”. (The last two digits of the lot numbers of theold part are “01”.)
