Adverts – A way of promoting other companies and local businesses within your newspaper.

Main Image – Links with the headline. This picture will usually be the one of the first things the reader will look at and what draws them into reading it.

Side story- Shows an insight into the other articles inside the paper, most likely including what page the story is continued on.

Masthead- The name of the newspaper which follows the same house style with colour and font within every newspaper that they dispatch.

Headline- Shows the readers what the general plot of the main story. Here the headline is in bold writing in order to grab the reader’s attention.
