• You will see each picture for only 1 minute
• Look at the following pictures and record your notices and wonders
• Notices – anything that you see in the picture
• Wonders – any thoughts you have about the picture, or things that you are curious about when looking at the picture.
REVIEW NOTICES AND WONDERS• Take a look at your Notices and Wonders Note
Catcher, add any last minute notes you may have.

TAKING A STAND• Based on the photographs you’ve seen today, what
do you think “taking a stand” means?

• Look at the following photograph. Write down your notices and wonders on your chart.

• How can taking a stand be both a positive and a negative thing?
