Treacys Oakwood Hotel assign each couple a dedicated wedding planner who will be with

you every step of the way ensuring every detail of your special day is taken care of to

perfection. We want to help turn your dreams into a reality.

We have designed 3 beautiful packages for you to choose from. Our all-inclusive Romantic,

Magical, & Enchanting packages allow you to choose a package that suits your budget and

we have also included a selection of complimentary extras just to make sure your day is

memorable. With our recently refurbished Hotel we can now offer wedding couples an even

higher level of hospitality and service

Mid-week weddings

If you are planning a wedding mid-week (Monday-Thursday) we can offer you a special

discount of 10% off all our wedding packages. This offer does not include Bank Holiday

Mondays and any booking dates between Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Civil Ceremony

Treacys Oakwood Hotel Shannon can host civil ceremonies up to 100 in our elegant

Bunratty Suite, or for the more intimate smaller ceremony we have our beautiful Aran

Suite which can cater for 50. In order to hold a civil wedding, the wedding couple

must first apply for approval to the Health Service Executive Civil Registration Office

The couple must apply directly as the hotel cannot apply on their behalf. For further

Terms & Conditions General

All prices shown are valid for 2018 & 2019 and are subject to change. All prices are

inclusive of VAT at 9%. Should VAT increase, prices will increase proportionately.

A provisional booking will be held for a period of 3 weeks at which time it is at the

discretion of the hotel to release the booking

All bookings must be confirmed by a signed contract together with a €1,000 non-

refundable deposit.

A second instalment of 50% of the total anticipated account is required 8 weeks prior

to the scheduled date

Valid card details are required on file to act as guarantee for your booking

Final payment is required on departure with cash, credit card, draft or certified

cheque. Personal cheques are not accepted

Final table plans, room layout and final numbers are required 48 hours in advance

Key cards must be presented for access to the hotel or bar area after normal

opening hours and only those residing in the hotel will be able to enter the residents

bar

Prices quoted are based on booking of 100+ guests for wedding reception. For small

wedding please discuss rates with our wedding team.

The Ice Cream Tricycle is supplied without ice-cream as this may be purchased via

the hotel.

The Sweet Cart is supplied without sweets which may be purchased via the hotel.

Wedding Menu

Our menus offer a wide range of choices. Should you wish to include extra choices

an additional €3.00 per person applies for starters & an additional €3.50 per person for

additional main course. All menus are prepared by us and presented in an attractive

fashion. We can of course include any special message that you may wish to share

with your guests.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be received in writing to the General Manager of the hotel

The management reserves the right to refund initial deposit in circumstances where a

booking is made through a third party or under false pretences

The hotel may cancel the event in circumstances where any guests attending the

event behave any way considered detrimental, offensive or contrary to normal

expected behaviour.

Cancellation charges apply for all food, beverage, bar extension & accommodation

costs

50% Value of booking - 2 month prior to the date

75% Value of booking – 1 month prior to the date

100% Value of booking – 2 weeks prior to the date

Final Numbers

Must be advised 48 hours prior to the date of the event. Billing will be based on final

numbers provided at this time

Change of Location

The hotel reserves the right to provide an alternative function room, within the

property, best suited for the event, should the number of guests attending the

function differ from the original number quoted or should, in the opinion of the hotel,

a more suitable room becomes available. Any change of location will be confirmed

in advance with the client.

Damages

Liability for damages to the premises will be charged accordingly. The booker of any

function will be held responsible for any damages to the premises by guest or agent

acting on its behalf. The hotel will not be responsible for damage or loss of any

personal property and equipment left on the premises prior to, or following any

function.

Consumption of External Food & Beverage

Any food and beverages served must be supplied by the hotel unless prior approval

has been sought and granted from the General Manager. Corkage is available at

€10.00 per bottle of wine, prosecco or champagne.

No beverage of any kind may be brought onto the premises by the patron or any of

the patron’s guests or invitees. The hotel reserves the right to make a charge for any

infringement of this policy.
