This life is full of ups and downs. It seems like the more we live the more we are being bombarded with situations that are out of our control. All of the things that we put our trust in, have failed us; social institutions, financial institutions, even religious institutions have caused us to question, “who can we turn to Now? Now that our annuity’s have been ripped off and is now pennies on the dollar, now that many of our politicians are living riotous lives and telling lies, now that our financial institutions are barely surviving. Who can you turn to you ask? Well, the answer is that you can turn to God. He promises that He is our refuge. That means the He is our protection from danger and hardship. But, it doesn’t stop there, He adds the conjunction “and” meaning there is more. A connection to the protection. He is our strength. This means that When we can’t go on, when we can’t make another move, when we can’t say another word about it, The Lord will step in and be our strong tower. Not tomorrow, not next week, not next month, but our present help. That means NOW. If you are in trouble call on the Lord, don’t wait until later today, do it Now. Do you believe, Believe it…. Now
