A Retreat in the Holy Land JUNE 25 JULY 6 , 20 20 T HIS RETREAT EXPERIENCE is for those who wish to reflect on the Scriptures while viewing the biblical landscape. With the guidance of Fr. Leslie Hoppe, OFM and Sr. Barbara Reid, OP, who have led retreats and study tours in the Holy Land for more than 30 years, participants will learn about the biblical significance of the site as well as its history and archaeology. There will be common prayer each day, including Eucharistic liturgies at many of the sites, and times of quiet reflection. Retreat cost is $4,250 per person and includes roundtrip airfare from Chicago, double-occupancy accommodations, entrance fees, gratuities, retreat presentations, ground transportation, and breakfast and supper each day. Participants are responsible for all other expenses incurred, and must be in good health and able to walk unassisted on uneven ground for at least one mile, as the retreat requires daily hikes.
