About our project
The project involves in measuring the
temperature, light and humidity of a remote
area.
the temperature, light and humidity measured
are transmitted through the zigbee.

A very low cost, low power consumption two-
way, wireless communications standard for
automation, toys, & PC peripherals.
ZigBee is a specification for wireless personal
area networks (WPANs) operating at 868MHz,
902-928 MHz, and 2.4 GHz.

LIGHT SENSOR
A light sensor is a mechanical device sensitive
to light, temperature, radiation level, that
transmits a signal to a measuring or control
instrument.

How light sensor works
The sensor uses a Hamamatsu S1133 silicon
photodiode. It produces a voltage which is
proportional to light intensity.
If the reading from the sensor reaches the maximum
for the selected ranges, we need to switch to a low
sensitive range.

Humidity sensor
A humidity sensor senses relative humidity.
Relative humidity, expressed as a percent, isthe ratio of actual moisture in the air to the
highest amount of moisture air at that
temperature can hold.

How humidity sensor works
The most common type of humidity sensor uses iscapacitive measurement.
This system relies on electrical capacitance, or the
ability of two nearby electrical conductors to createan electrical field between them.

Temperature sensor
Temperature sensors are the devices used to
measure the temperature of an object or
environment.
These sensors sense the temperature and
generate the output signals in any of the two
forms:change in voltage or change in
resistance.

Lm 35 as temperature sensor
The LM35 series are precision integrated-
circuit temperature sensors, whose output
voltage is linearly proportional to the Celsius
(Centigrade) temperature.
The LM35 thus has an advantage over linear
temperature sensors calibrated in Kelvin.
