THE JIWAJI UNIVERSITY

JIWAJI UNIVERSITY came into existence a teaching and affiliating university

on 23rd may 1964 under the provision of M.P. government ordinance. No. 15 of

1963 , late Dr.Sarvopally Radhdakrishnan, then President of INDIA , laid the

foundation stone of the university on 11th December 1965.The University

campus as it exist now is spread over an area of about 255 acres. The

Administrative Block, Post Office, Bank and other buildings are located within

campus.

The University started post graduate teaching and research in the School of

Studies in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, and Ancient Indian History,

Calture and Archeology in 1971 subsequently. School of studies in economics,

mathematics and commerce and Management were also added to it recently.

School of Bio-Chemistry and Earth Science have also been added to the

University teaching departments, besides the post graduate and research the

School of studies in Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, and

Commerce and Management have M.phill classes also. In 1987-1988 the School

of Studies in Commerce and Management took up two year full time Master of

Business Administration programs.

The Hostel Accommodation is also available in the University for boys and

girls; this facility is provided only candidate is a student of school of studies

center.

ABOUT JAIN COLLEGE

JAIN COLLEGE is a college for higher studies & establish with its unique set

up & Performance 2nd July 2002 by Manodeep Higher Education society

Gwalior. Jain College is recognized by commissioner, higher education M.P.

Bhopal, affiliated to Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

At present college campus located at link road, Gwalior. This is a unique

institute because of the district course curriculum and innovation training

method which insure through exposure to theoretical, practical and IT input,

leading to successful corporate of in depth input in information technology Jain

group of colleges provides the students the bit computer lab facility, library

facility, railway ticket concession facility (MST) & it is also providing hostel

facility, library to students.

The Jain college came in the existence, it started two courses B.C.A. and

PGDCA but now it has started some other courses B.Sc ,B.Com, B.B.A, M.Sc

& MBA. Jain college aims to student decline dedication and to achieve our

organization goal.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This practical work in this report is an outcome of continual work over a period

of one month and drew intellectual support from various sources. Obligation

thus incurred in completing the work has been many. It is therefore almost

impossible to express adequately the debts owed to many people who have been

instrumental in imparting this work a successful status. it is however a matter of

great pleasure to express gratitude & appreciation to those who have been

contributing to bring about this practical.

I am great full to Mrs. Himsy Lamba for valuable guidance & frequent

suggestion during the course of the practical. His suggestion helped me

maintain good quality of work. I express my deep gratitude to him. Last but not

the least. I would like to thank all those who lent a helping hand at the hour of

need.
